  1. Maybe instead of getting hit by a facehugger 4 times and instantly dying, pulling a facehugger off could give you like 3 madness skill checks in a row, and failing any or failing to start the skill checks within like 5 seconds gives infection and puts them in the injured/deep wound state (depending on if they were healthy).

Survivors wouldn't necessarily die just because they got caught by facehuggers, which would allow them to be pretty fast without it feeling unfair for either side (as is if they go the same speed as survivors the wrench becomes mandatory, but if they go faster the wrench becomes unreasonably strong), but it would cut people off from vaults or pallets unless they're fine with taking the infestation and distract them from properly looping around anything (since there's always some geometry to get stuck on if you take it as close as possible

  2. oof recharged would be busted as all hell alongside hyperfocus and a toolbox. Skill check trigger percentages should not be a thing. Newts Beacon should also have a cap of 5 tokens but have the increase essentially doubled as currently it's just a worse WGLF, but you also don't want it spiralling too far out of control in case you end up getting another situation like overlapping Boon CoH's where survivors could pick up other survivors in the time it took the killer to swing again.

Desolate Isolation should be brought down to a 30 second cooldown to keep it more in line with other reveal perks such as Darkness revealed which is arguably better anyway. Perfect Specimen is far, far too specialised. Only perks I can really think of getting value are STBFL and PWYF and both of those require you to purchase yet another licensed killer (unearnable through shards) or get lucky in the shrine. Thanatophobia's biggest bonus doesn't come from stacks but having all four survivors injured (2% from each stack is minimal), and the only other perks affected are hex perks which when cleansed, doesn't matter how many stacks they have as they're gone. Also in the best niche cases of PWYF and STBFL, do you really want a killer to be able to essentially have a permanent bloodlust 3 on top of additional bloodlust? It's niche and busted for that niche.

Not gonna go into everything in this video but felt I could spare some time to analyse the perks at least

  3. I love these ideas AND the presentation!!! All the perk icons are very unique and recognizable while perfectly fitting their respective survivor/killer. All of these are very creative ideas that I think could lead to some very fun builds! Perfect specimen is so creative and it makes so much sense it’s on Xenomorph specifically. It also feels like the perks would fit right into the rest of the game! Also, I really appreciate how all of the addons feel consistently fun and useful. It’s a bit of a different style than DBD’s usual of making addons difficult to make use of but with advantages survivors often won’t expect, but this style of implementing addons would really appeal to so many people including myself. More killers should have more consistent addons in my opinion.
As somebody who’s seen and loved the original Alien, brilliant work, this is a very faithful adaption. very excited for other videos like this one 🙂
