  1. My biggest concern with the 2v8 is if it is not strictly solo queue. Would Killers be able to queue together and would 8 survivors be able to queue up together? Even four of eight survivors on comms could drastically change the outcome/flow

  2. 2v8 mode exists in identity v, and it is absolute hellish chaos. Identity v also have a kind of 5v5 mode where it's two seperate teams going vs each other in 2 seperate but simultanious games. One team's killer goes against the other team's survivors. Which ever team has the most escapes wins. Would love to see dbd get some of these alternate modes too.

  3. Vip could be interesting if the non obsessions couldnt be picked up and they can pick themselves up.

    With the 5v5 for some reason I had assumed it would be a 3 way fight. 2 teams fight over gens while a killer torments both sides. It still has unbalanced written all over it, but still sounds fun.

  4. I always though a roguelike mode would be great in DBD for the same reasons you like Luck of The Draw, but without removing the metagame entirely. You'd be randomly given a small amount of perks and items to work with, and it would be up to you to make a decent build with them. The way I imagine it is that you have to make a certain bloodpoint score (with a more balanced system than the current caps) every match, that only gets higher and higher. To counteract this, you can also take on challenges to do mid-trial (glyphs, or even debuffs like a -5% move speed or no hud) to improve your score.

  5. For 5v5, they could make team based pallets. Basically, one pallet on each side, a red and blue (Or something like that) in the same spot on the tile. This means that each team has their own pallets to use, and since they're all in the same spot it won't be unfair.

  6. I know some people are going to disagree with me and I’m fine with it. I think some game modes such as hide and seek and zombie tag are bad in my opinion those games are heavily over done by other games and I feel like they don’t really fit well with dbd and could possibly take away from the atmosphere of dbd same with other game modes. I only liked the idea for 2vs 8, luck of the draw 5vs5 because I think these would be fun to play with friends they would provide a sense of a challenge and they would not have weird overdone ideas that take away from the atmosphere of dbd too much compared to some of the game modes I didn’t like.

  7. Imagine this pac man like game mode.

    It’s called pack rat.

    There are 4 killers and 1 survivor.

    All around the map are glyphs the survivor needs to collect.

    Collect all the red glyphs the survivor wins.

    Collect any of the 4 blue glyphs the survivor becomes the killer and the killers become the survivors.

    The survivor has to get caught 3 times to lose.

    If a killer is caught as a survivor they will respawn in 1 minute.

In 5v5 it would definitely be best if pallets were team colored. 2x as many pallets spawn in the trial and they are split between the teams, but appear translucent to players that aren't affected by them. For example, blue team pallets can be dropped and vaulted by blue team survivors and would need to be kicked and broken by red team killers, but they would appear translucent to blue killers and red survivors and can be walked through by them.

  9. 3:22 VIP mode should be kinda like tarot mode in identity V,where the obsession is the "king" and other survivors are "squires",squires have to protect the king from being sacrificed,king take 3 hits to be down(first time),squires cant be hook and they can revive themself when downed

  10. seeing how they're taking from idv on mobile for 2v8 vip could easily become the tarot card mode two teams spawn in each 4 people 1 killer 3 survs one designated as the king(vip) that needs to be killed
