I mean, the next step that keep popping in my mind to try and keep being relevant that BHVR could take for this game would be "DBD becomes F2P", and i'm always afradi they gonna announce it next PTB. A original robot killer is the least of my concerns.
My thought, (maybe I’m just super high) but the killers name from Malignant is Gabriel.
Gabriel Soma- Soma(tic) cells, which can become cancer, and Gabriel is “the cancer”. Just a thought 🤷🏻♂️

An actual singularity has nothing to do with technology, its the point of infinite density in a black hole. I hope thos means we get some kind of cosmic killer.
I agree I think they need a license if they are going to get the community to stay I also think if it were original it would have to be a really good concept and it would have to spice up the game a lot while making up for not being licensed. It would be interesting to see a space concept or maybe terminator it just needs to be a big license
They need to stop releasing often. Cut it in half. Two releases a year. This leaves more time for the releases, more time for game improvement, AB’s we could have events instead.

how is NOBODY talking about how this is so obviously M3GAN?? yes, the movie just came out this year. BUT, the co-producers of that film are Blumhouse studios and Atomic Monster. and guess who’s Co-Producing the DBD movie? exactly. this gives them the opportunity to develop a chapter before it’s available to the public. and the code name of the killer is “The Singularity.” sounds like an ever evolving psycho killer AI toy to me.
First we must come to terms with the fact that DBD does not decide if they can get the license. If they don't have anything for a while then they just simply can't get them. Second the thing about getting a robot after the skull merchant…well it's because people wanted a killer robot and they can clearly see that. If this isn't a robot them you can bet that they will be making one vary soon
I really hope this aniversary brings us a surprising license… We deserve it…

Really looking forward to the next Masquarade because of the masks that are custom made to symbolize each killer/survivor to a detail. Hopefully there will be at least one of my mains included this time (Kate / Legion).

This game is so terrible that it's not even fun to play while chatting with friends like a "party game" anymore. I've played it on and off for years and most chapters that have dropped were lame and disappointing with pretty crap perks on both sides. I play killer mostly and it's just not as fun as it was a long time ago either. This is THE last chapter I'm givng a chance and if it's another garbage one, I'm uninstalling and never looking back. There are so many games I have installed that won't disappoint me and not completely waste my time. God, bhvr deserves a kick in the teeth with the trash they come up with..

I personally cannot think of a killer that is a license killer that goes with "The Singularity" but maybe it's just the name of the killer in dbd. E.g Michael Myers is called The Shape, so maybe it is something similar to that, so still has the potential to be a License killer

Being honest considering how BHVR has "dealt" with leaks in the past (scrambling and making everything different to try and prove the leaks wrong), I wouldn't be surprised if they were so petty as to just… Change both the names before the chapter comes out. Plus, if you think about it in the way of SkullMerchant replaced a Predator DLC when they pulled out on them, then having a predator license and then a space/gravity themed original killer come out right after to still ride the hype might have been something they wanted to try. But instead we got the messiest killer release since Twins, and now BHVR is going to be scrambling to change things not even 17 days before the chapter releases. All this to say, I wouldnt be surprised if the leaks were wrong, not cuz they are misinformation, but cuz BHVR changed a bunch of stuff 3 weeks before the chapter came out specifically because of the leaks.
if they keep doing this, this game is going to end up with 1000+ characters and perks. these chapters are just money hunting for the devs. i get it, it‘s exciting seeing new characters, perks, abilities and other stuff but after a time it‘s nothing special anymore and by releasing chapters the devs trigger the community war because it’s either too op or unbalanced. whatever. i‘m just mad that we have only one game mode after so many years💀
