Ghost face isn't licensed from Scream though, is it? It's technically the mask that is licensed, and that has nothing to do with the movies other than that they used the mask's design in Scream.
If they were to do a resident evil chapter 2 then the killer would be Mr x and the survivor would be ada wong

with so many licenses still out there and with limited DLCs per year, I doubt we'll see a repetition of any of the past DLCs. I find RE 2 highly unlikely.

Why does no one ever mention Amnesia: The Dark Descent? Its a hugely influential game in the horror franchise and deserves a killer at least.
What they should’ve done was release Nemesis, Jill, Leon, AND Mr. X. That would’ve been massive hype and everyone would’ve lost their shit. Someday they have to release 2 separate killers as a DLC. I see why they might not want to, just because those are two huge game changers coming in at the same time. But one can hope.

Some personal speculation
– A 2nd RE killer should probably be really different from Nemesis to be included. Considering they shrunk Nemmy for DBD, Lady D is way too huge so I'm still on team Wesker.
– Dracula is public domain and could probably be put in the game while adding to the "Hall of Fame" without having to pay for a license.
– Unless they're going for Dracula from Castlevania, they don't really need to involve Konami when it comes to vampire king. Also Simon is the Belmont/protagonist of the first Casltevania game. The potential hint might not be two Simons on one project but two chapters involving seperate Simons. I think a Castlevania killer would probably more likely be someone like Death/The Reaper. If they do add a "Dracula" from Castlevania, I personally want the one from Lords of Shadow.
– Dead Space might possibly be coming back, a crossover would probably work while also being good promo for EA so perhaps that's something to keep in mind for the future.
