    Although, had these Survivors not thrown, trying to get the Adam out when he was the only trapped Survivor and you'd just injured someone else AND he had OTR? Yeah that could've cost you the game.

  20. I haven’t see one of Tru’s games in months and there really isn’t anything strategic or even impressive to me here. He wasn’t using his perks or addons in any sort of unique or creative way that could be considered “strategy”. The only scenario where he might have used Pig’s power strategically was when he decided to check the boxes to find the Adam that he knew was getting his trap off, but that’s not really what you want to be doing when playing Pig. The idea of her power is that those survivors are now delayed and can’t be working on gens, and it’s usually better to pressure gens more during this time. The only reason that play worked out for him is because all of the teammates decided to stop doing gens in order to help the other survivor, but if they hadn’t and just sat on the gens, that could have been an easy 3 man escape. He also ended up staying close to the hooks and used his stealth power to get the jump on them, but that’s a pretty common strategy that most people employ and again, doesn’t stand out to me. That really doesn’t sound “BEAUTIFULLY STRATEGIC (All caps level of worthy)” to me.

    On a side note, I’m really surprised by something. I remember that Tru used to say “tunneling and camping isn’t fun” and he’d usually go out of his way to avoid it. Now, I have no problems when someone decides to do this, hell I do it myself when I see a good opportunity or reason to do it. It’s a part of the game and I’m not going to whine if it happens against me or if I decide to do it myself. What is strange to me is that Tru seems to have completely changed his beliefs in regard to that. He aggressively went after Adam even after having identified the Off the Record and then camped close to the hook on multiple occasions using his stealth. Can someone explain what happened to cause the change in his beliefs?

  21. hey Tru, i recently got back into dead by daylight and noticed you mainly play killer now, no survivor videos. I was wondering if there was anyway you would reconsider and make some survivor videos/builds because your past videos really helped me understand the game, but i feel like something is different with DBD now. At least for me it seems harder to be survivor and could really use tips and stuff like ur old videos used to provide. I would always run windows and kindred because of how well you made it look in your videos and it worked for a long time. Thanks!
