  1. I only grinded almost all my killers so BPs don't really interests me. I would have like iridescent shards (few of them with BP) so you can get some skins or killer)

  2. Removing perk tiers would lessen the grind by a third, is nothing worse than just wanting bbq for a mobility killer to get monstrous shrine and insidious every 2 webs annoying af.

    When you go to Elden Ring Scott Dbd will miss your videos, i've never understood why BHVR didnt listen more something tells me you wont be back and I don't blame you

  3. BHVR are afraid to remove Perk Tiers because they believe that this would mean that ppl would get perks faster -> get bored faster -> leave faster.
    Whatever this is + the log-in rewards are their miniscule attempts at player retention. Which are frankly not working, since players have already quit en masse.

  4. Started playing dbd cause I thought it was fun, uninstalled 2 days after cause i realised the insane amount of time I should have had to put into it just to get the basic perks everybody uses. I dont need a second job tbh, the way you unlock stuff in this game is so stupid, ill stuck to Scott and otz and watch them instead

  5. Could they do something like Archive Challenges but for New Players? For example: You buy the game and log in the first time. You get like a little "Roadmap" for each role with tasks and rewards.
    Down your first Survivor with any Killer: 20.000 BP.
    Do your first Hooksave as any Survivor: 30.000 BP
    etc.

    That way you a) guide the new players a little bit better and b) give these fresh and kind of underprepared Players a BP-Boost at the very start of their carrier.

  6. save injector is your friend :). literally nothing you can be reported for and won't bring any attention to your account because you literally just update your server profile to have all perks so nothing seems illegitimate. and you aren't really cheating, more like bypassing the outdated and just obnoxious middleman to reach the same end goal but 1000x faster. why would I waste thousands of hours grinding to get the stuff I want or a specific perk from a killer/survivor I dislike or don't have any intentions on playing, but because teachables exist (and are horrible), I would have to spend money on DLC just to get a single perk. nah, just save inject that and teachables now no longer exist! one thing, just if you do it do not wear the legacy skins because then your account can actually be checked and shown that the playtime/time when legacy skins were a thing don't add up which obviously comes off as illegitimate.

  7. Remove perk teirs, 8 perks on the shrine 4 killer 4 survivor, ability to unlock teachables of characters you own with shards regardless of shrine. There would still be a grind but it would be much less random and .uch less of a slog.

    Now I'm a RuneScape veteran, so even if I only play 2 hours a day every other day some weeks I have the patience and desiplin to sit and grind it out, but not every one will.

  8. Anybody remember when the map offerings had different percentages? LoL I completely agree Scott. Besides, since they changed the way the tiers affect the perks it just seems like it's an excuse to suck up more players bloodpoints. Not to mention I think they should revisit the rarity of blood point offerings because I swear Bloody Party Streamers has an ultra rare setting. 😆

  9. I have 3k in this game and I'm not spending any of my bp at all, i just ditting with 1 million because I'm sick of even leveling up characters. It is a lot of time, it is boring.

  10. as a new player i agree… i dont like grinding just to get a decent bbq, or having to try and find the perks i dont have yet that would benefit me as a killer. prestiging is like saying "hello sir? yeah i want to lose my stuff for a cosmetic or 3, thanks.

  11. Bloodpoints are soo easy to get, ire shards however is a huge pain to grind. If they replace it with shards, I'm sure the majority of the community will be happy and have that cough sense of pride and accomplishment cough

  12. removing perk tiers would reduce costs more than just reducing perk costs by 66% because with the 66% reduction you still have to get each perk three times which means buying all the random junk in bloodwebs 3x more.

  13. I don't think they changed this in order to fix all the issues in the game.. I think they changed this because it was clear that hitting rank 1 was just not as rewarding as it should be.

  14. I feel like two big reasons for quadrupling BP rewards are the fact it is easier to implement, and they want people to keep playing, so you are incentivized to play. (personally I prefer no tiers as well, but when has BHVR made the best decisions?)
