I don't like this change because Bhvr again didn't thought about the consequences for other perks, killers and other things. Here a few small example:
-Star Struck Nurse is now even worse then before because they just need 1 person on hook and can easily slug all others and then it's game over
-All perks that have something to do with slugging are destroyed or really weird now
-Swf is now even stronger because now killers can't slug for pressure and have it even harder to pick someone up under a pallet when another survivor is near then.
Both sides suffer from it and both sides can provit from it but in reality it's just a "Who can abuse that gimmik more"
What I don't get is why not keep the Mori part of Devour Hope and Rancor? The survivor is dead anyway, why not let survivors enjoy a cool animation and let the killer see their cosmetics for a change? What's so unhealthy about seeing the Mori more????
Honestly, this free pick up should cost the survivor something so it can't be abused endlessly. Could make it cost a hook state per usage, so getting up in the killer's face is a bad idea. If done that way you could keep the "free pick up" mechanics from old perks, just make it so they don't eat hook states when proc'd. However, the bigger issue is that the free unbreakable makes many killers unable to do anything against SWFs due to being too slow as you can run some goofy setup like Unbreakable + Soul Guard to get free 22 second pick ups plus endurance endlessly. It'll also create issues when you get dead zones due to poor hook spawning or a hook breaking in a bad place that you literally can't get a survivor on the hook from. If they plan to keep it as is, they're going to have to look into some way for killer to hook survivors remotely like Pyramid Head gets.
Even with a sweeping change like this where they get rid of basically every other way to mori, they refuse to touch tombstone piece on Myers. They must have a contract or some shit preventing them from rebalancing him because that's such a bizarre thing to overlook
So the game is unbalanced and infested with cheaters, and to fix that they go and remove MORIS ????????
Genuine idea, why not make the finishing mori require everyone to be dead, hooked or escaped? That prevents killers like Nurse from just slugging 4 people and winning instantly, but also doesn’t completely fuck over Twins, Oni, Mikey and other killers who need to slug by requiring an anti-slug measure.
Game is dead with this , survivors are still insanely op
I genuinely do wonder if the devs actually play their own game. How is a game ending mori equivalent to basekit unbreakable? If it's because the game immiediately ends after you down every survivor, either don't have it, or create an early game collapse system where if every survivor is downed then the collapse starts and if a survivor can get up and stop it, then the game won't end… it DOES NOT JUSTIFY BASEKIT UNBREAKABLE…. I can come up with an idea in 10 seconds of thinking about it, all this is is lazy game design.
When you get something away from killer you make the game less fun for both solo que and killers. If tunneling wasn't bad enough it's about to get way worse. Ppl will need yo kill some one asap in order to have a chance against SWFs

this update only makes starstruck god nurses and swfs with thousands of hours stronger while at the same time making the game worse for everyone else
I feel to balance this out BHVR should add the feature for killers to regress/close exit gates. And make more QOL features for solo queue
I try not to slug too much when I play and I can do pretty well but there's times it a must to get control of the game again and in a lot of scenarios it is the difference between losing or winning for me! Even with just keeping one person slugged!
When I think back to how many time one unbreakable can swing the matches direction drastically it is a scary chance although I understand why they are doing it.
It is super frustrating being left on the ground until you bleed!
What’s the point in Last Standing? If BHVR want Moris to happen just make the Yellow Mori basekit. They’re creating more problems with Last Standing and then making unnecessary solutions to the problems they create.
Do survivors seriously need their hand held every update? This is some bullshit if ever seen one, some dickhead ttv said they should make unbreakable basekit and holy shit look at this, this is prove that the developers listen to survivors more, dumbasses don't play their own game, always giving survivors an ass kiss. Killer and survivor perks are now useless, what about hackers? They can't do shit about that but they have time to announce an update typical Behavior. What about people who struggle as killer? Some people struggle at the beginning doing terrible but then they make a comeback but no because unbreakable basekit for the fucking win, all pressure is lost, the killers are supposed to apply PRESSURE to make sure the other side doesn't win because it's a COMPETITIVE GAME, it's like the developers want survivors to win for no reason just by giving them all these second chances
So basically deerstalker should just be removed from the game

I can see this being a massive problem against swf, especially as m1 killers. Down someone on a pallet? Get forced to slug cause you can’t pick them up if their friends are nearby and good luck downing someone else in 20 seconds on most maps if there are other loops nearby, so you get basically nothing. And that can theoretically happen multiple times in a match with the same people, or maybe even all match. This’ll create a lot more lose lose situations for killers. And the end game mechanic is only really gonna be feasible and useful on the top tier killers like nurse/blight/spirit.

This update is not even cool fr. Already a survivor favored game and this update proves it. They are taking away killers Mori's and adding perma unbreakable for survivors. Slugging is gone. Not to mention it's 1 v 4. The odds keep stacking up against killers. 😣
Now I can't mori 4 players in a game either just the last one if I get him downed. Why not focus on real issues in game and not creating more for the killers. There are literally killers no one even plays anymore because they got nerfed and are trash. Slugging is really the only thing certain killers have to help control a game and now that's gone too. While survivors get yet another buff.
I am a huntress main and i love going for snipes across the map and well its not gonna be a thing anymore the bhvr does everything to take fun parts of the game destroy them. even if im not playing huntress i mostly play slugging killers like twins, oni or plague. now all of them are trash cuz there is no pro player that will be able to kill all 4 survs within 22,5 seconds. btw [*] for the twins that wont be able to use their power anymore 🙂 and i wonder what the killer will do when going against sabo squad? if killer drops a surv he will instantly pick their selvs up with unbreakable that will be used by 99% of survs, dc??? dodging ppl with toolboxes will do nothing cuz they can always use sabotaur. this game will die instantly if bhvr wond do anything about it. if this will be in public servers im quitting this game until its removed or reworked. And i also dont know why they deleted the mori from perks and offerings i mean i know its "base kit" but it is not at all. its just a cool ending but it doesnt let u do them in the middle of the game what was actally fun. Its hilarious that bhvr are doing all of this crap destroying the game but they dont seem to care about the hackers. well not the game is getting ruined double the speed :))))))) good luck bhvr fixing the game

This is a buff to SoloQ. This is a buff to the perk Unbreakable itself as using it allows you to get up from dying quicker than before. I would argue this is a nerf to survive with friends as you can usually expect a survivor to be picked up right when they get to the last 5% and this makes base recovery take LONGER than before. Honestly, I think that Unbreakable being base kit is a buff to Killer when killer plays without slugging. I can't think of a single real downside to this change.
With all these basekit changes, next thing you know Left Behind will be basekit and Bill will be irrelevant
First of all, Twins and Oni HAVE to slug, that's just how they're played and they can't even do the thing they do best anymore? Any why remove killing from those other perks? Who in their right mind saw fit to nerf Rancor? And Devour Hope, you REALLY had to earn it….. Or just get lucky, but either way… Devour Hope generally doesn't reach five tokens, but their removing the killing aspect just because mori's are supposedly ''Basekit'' now? Yeah, for the last person left in the game when you have literally already won and the game is already over. Substituting it for automatic death hooks technically doesn't change that much, but it's certainly much less fun, you lose a hook, it's less guaranteed, and you can't leave someone slugged to defend Devour Hope, either. And they talk about all this as if the mori and basekit Unbreakable are equal. Like, ''The killer can now mori the last survivor when they've already won and that survivor was dead anyway. To balance that, the survivors now have infinite Unbreakable basekit'' What the fuck? And I remember seeing this post on Reddit where the guy was moring someone with Dredge, but it was right next to a wall. In this one case, it didn't ruin, but it actually made it interesting in it's own way. All you could see was the survivor getting dragged behind a wall and it was kinda cool. But stuff like that is gone too. I always thought the thing that was cool about mori's is that it's kind of like a mid match cutscene that can happen anywhere. This all also means that I won't be able to kill S.T.A.R.S as Nemesis anymore, which also happens to be one of the few times he actually says it. Or Chris as Wesker. I can only hope they don't go through with this…
I can see alot of situations if this goes through where you down a survivor and you can't pick them up because they are under palette and also because someone else is around but you only have 22-40 seconds to chase anyone away but then if you cannot chase them away they get up themselves then the chase starts again or you pick the survivor up and they get saved, but we will see.
Just don't slug for 45 seconds. Nerfing top tier killers is a win.
