Choy .. will get punished for challenging BHVR to follow on their words. Sadly, BHVR prefer to shut the words than being transparent and work on improving their game. We still have the data leak happening to this day .. a problem that has been here for years!!!
You know, considering the massive layoffs this year (both at the start and in the middle of it) I wouldn't be surprised if support team just got like 80-90% run by AI (or pretty much just bot). It doesn't help that since I started playing they hid normal way to do a ticket and tried to enforce a bot to take them.
Anyway, from my experience there's almost not point in asking support for any tech issues, because it basically boils down to having support members tell you to do a thing, when it doesn't work and you explain to them that can't be issue, they continue to tunnel vision on that, it still doesn't work and it ends with them asking to format the PC. And the funny thing is, majority of the issues are fixed by the next patch or two – and that's why I said almost, because despite that support won't help, it seems the issue is automatically forwarded to tech team (like programmers or something) and they fix it.
And it doesn't help that support doesn't even really listen to cheater or harassment reports. I had a blatant cheater, I reported them with a ticket, still no info about any action. Had a game against homophobe who wished death upon people, still no action taken.
Also, considering that you need to report people both in and out of the game, which takes some time, to have any chance of something happening feels like early 2000s stuff, not a mid 2020s game.
Either BHVR has a massive internal issue with communication, or some department that is responsible for the communication is threatened with salary cuts if they let it through, or BHVR has the sincere belief that false bans like that do not happen at all and are so paranoid about hackers that anyone that claims the opposite is basically a hacker even if they are genuinely innocent. Or all of the above.
I've been banned from the forums, and I literally have no idea why. It SHOULD have been a 1 month ban as it is my 3rd offense, once I talked about DC's which to them was "endorsing DC's" (the current one probably too, I just explained why pre-nerf SM has so many dc's and that I too am guilty of dcing against her since she was so boring to play against, but I dont know for sure) and once because I appearantly created a hostile environment, but nothing I said was even aimed at anyone.
I dont endorse DC, I have even stated that when I talk about myself DC'ing. But sometimes, DC'ing is a solution that survivors use because there is a problem they cannot avoid otherwise.
Careful with stuff like this. I caught a perma ban from their "official" forums ( I say it that way since Steam was the official till they got their own forums running, after this incident occurred. Something that seems really, really fishy to me.. ) due to a few people I know and I who managed to get three of their steam forum moderator's banned off steam for corruption and abuse.
Both of these moderators where close friends of Cote and other dev members ( its why they got their jobs in the first place ) and they instantly got new jobs as soon as the new forums of theirs came up despite knowing what their friends did on the steam forums. This is why I left the comment I did on the other video. Where I called out Mandy since, Mandy was one of said moderators.
( The others who where involved with getting those moderators exposed and kicked off from being moderators on steam have also been perma banned from the "official" forums. So its kind of obvious why they banned us. I am the only one of the group that managed to make comments on that forum, and they are all about ideas for chapters. I made the account and made comments before they officially brought back Mandy there. The others where not willing to bother getting accounts there and told me I was a moron for doing it. They where right since I ended up getting banned without warning. Though its a odd one since I can log onto said account, but I just can not make comments / interact with anyone. Yes I did ask their support and they said I was banned. That is how I found out. )

Considering I saw this live when that one guy used the random streamer as an overlay impersonating them to deceive the company into believing it was the hacker playing, I can say without a doubt they are in fact clueless 😂
Its also good to note that you took the time to cover her real handle and just call her "Dove" cuz Hens mentions her and she hangs out in his stream and on twitch . So no hate will go her way. Nice of you .
Can't wait for the moment when some salty degenerative hacker will ban me through bhvr shitty eac after i beat him no matter of his subtle hacks, and then I lose my 4500 hrs account with dlcs and no one will help me, because bhvr support are just a bunch of scumbags.
Around a year ago I started to receive multiple feedback bans on my reports about hackers, now it happens once in a month. And hackers didn't dissappear, it's just bhvr had some hacker scandal which forced them to show some visibility of work against them, and when dust settled out, they don't care again

I got my account baned recently. I did not cheat or anything but was banned for exploits for 10 years. Its funny because I did not play game before the ban for 2 or 3 weeks. They didnt explain anything. I don’t understand anything

He couldn't mute video altogether to get rid of ramen's voice since it'll block game audio as well, and that'll appear fake; he can't make recording of stream since it'll have sufficient desync and mods will know they're banned a wrong person while source of it won't show game ban on "stream".. And why mods decided to go to 0 people stream? How did he showcase his own hacks? Was he bluffing all along?

All I see now is Choy crying in the corner about some community moderator, when being not even involved in any case in the problem, hyping on someone else's issues.

LMAO. I've seen obvious hackers in this month alone. they are not known for their honesty in many cases sadly. I didn't get any emails back on the reports either. vod evidence means nothing to them.
i cannot believe they would publicly try to act like this was never the case that was happening when they also publicly admitted that it was happening… make it make sense

When the amazon prime tome rift pass was available, I tried to claim it. It did not work at all I tried so many times. Finally I contacted support. They sent a copy and paste of the instructions on Amazon prime. I responded that I already stated that I've followed these exact steps several times and asked if I could please get some help. They threatened to ban my account then replied to that email (before I even saw the threat) with another email saying actually the code was fucked up here's a new one. All this to say that yes, the support team will threaten to ban you if you even vaguely hint that they haven't helped you.
Have you guys tried buying more cosmetics? That usually helps
