  1. It is just changing the game so much. There has never been a patch that changed the game this much. It changes almost 80 percent of the way a killer has to play. I don't face camp and never have. Ever but defending a couple of hooks at once is a huge play. And it happens a lot, protect the hook sometimes

  2. So toxic that Otz kept calling The Doctor “shocking”, not very nice from a fog whisperer to be mean to someone just trying to play a lower tier killer. Reported to the devs >:(

  3. My go to build is bond, open handed, kindred, and prove thy self
Bond + OH: give you a 52 meter radius of seeing your teammates at all times! if their close enough you can hop onto a gen with PTS or even take a hit for them. This radius is almost map wide!

Kindred + OH: The Killer's aura will be shown in a 32 meter radius doubling its effectiveness. this is insane amount of info for survs even for the timid ones since the killer would basically have to be half way through the map to get out of its range! Bonus: if your in a team and get yourself downed in the CENTER for the map you give your team free aura reading for 40+ seconds which is game changing just don't forget to unhook the guy or gal!

PTS + Bond: Makes game go way way faster and with Bond you will almost never work on a gen alone unless your teammates are just too far away.

  4. I have been watching Otz for a long time now, but it does seem very bizzarro world when Otz says the words, "Consider using decisive strike." The world has turned UPSIDE DOWN WE'VE COME FULL CIRCLE

  5. I dont think using 4 chase oriented perks is a bad idea, most of the match killers use op add ons, broken meta builds and they also tunnel most of the time so survivors have no choice to use them

  6. I kinda disagree on reassurance because in my soloq experience people will get frustrated if I use the perk and leave them be on the hook and usually will try escape or let them be eaten by entity instead of patiently waiting a better opportunity

  7. i stop playing dbd (even tho i still watch otz) because of the need for tunnelling, the need to spend money for good perks and overall toxic community, glad to see that everything still is the same

  8. All they have to do is pause sacrifice timer when killer is X meters near hook after a certain time. This removes all pressure for other teammates as they can keep doing gens. This Isn't rocket science.

  10. The problem with information perks is, its only good for noobs. Because decent players who actually know the basics of the game know when they have to unhook and when not to. And they also know more or less where the killer is and when. So just taking that perk for being afraid of solo q noobs is really anoying.

  11. Funny enough, I almost always run Kindred. But I also don't even have 100 hours of actual playtime between survivor and killer combined, lol. Always wanted to get more into the game but I'm not big on gaming solo.

  12. Well, we're here again. Killer can never be nerfed enough, according to Otz. He's never gonna concede that after a certain skill level, your skill as killer literally does not matter, because the math is on the survivors' side. Chasing: unviable, now let's nerf tunneling. Tunneling: unviable, now let's nerf camping. Camping: unviable, what's next on the witch hunt?

  13. WoO is the best information perk in the game. Running WoO with MFT and Resilience is just fine and I would encourage anyone new to use those 3 together. Also, if someone gets hooked in the basement, that's on them. The basement should be the place every Survivor fears. I say Killers have every right to camp people down in the basement with no mechanic stopping that outside of stuff like BT.

  14. Personally, I think camping and tunneling are very boring so I won't do it no matter what, I only want to have fun with my perks and add-ons, but just like Otz said, hook suicides / cheaters / AFK players are still some big problems to DBD, it's pretty hard to have a "normal" game these days🥲

  15. I always run borrowed time, too many killers just wait out base kit borrowed and hit. Plus I run kindred when playing with randoms, had too many people die on hook cause no one saves.

  16. Not sure where this is coming from because last data I saw Kindred was still in the top 10 most used perks and Reassurance has never even come close to the top 20. Nightlight which isn't completely accurate but the best data we have other then when the Dev's release something also backs up the claim Kindred is still high in use and Reassurance is still near the bottom.

  17. With the STBFL stacks being lost if you kill the obsession+DH the only exception to this rule is if I'm running Game Afoot, STBFL, on Sadako. She can change the obsession constantly because her chases are so short and you hop in-between survivors too much to accumulate chase time to only one and if you kill the obsession early you can bring the Obsession back in with Game Afoot. Bloody Fingernails, (STBFL+PWF+Rapid Brutality+ Game Afoot)
