  1. I read on one of the two leak reddit posts where someone said i thought yall had no idea what the map was for and are now saying conjuring how did you decide that and someone replied and said affer looking at the assets used in the map they are definitely assests based on the conjuring but i didnt see any proof other than someone said there was a castle and graveyard which played a big part in the nun movie.
But side note here….. Couldnt this just be a nun chapter and not use any of the conjuring stuff? Like exclude the warrens and all the conjuring movies? I know the nun is basically a part of the conjuring series but it did have its standalone movie, i assume all the license are held by the same people.

  2. Bro, I just faced four red rank 1 survivors when I'm only silver 3 and I didn't even lose any progress considering how long the game went on. I don't care about the story right now. I just want them to not let that happen. I've been playing a week and a half. Something is really really wrong if the game decides a week and a half player has enough skill to face people with 100's or 1000's of hours in the game.

  3. I was under the impression that no new non-licensed maps were meant to be added until all of the older existing ones get visual updates. Practically speaking: they just want to give all of the old maps visual updates before working at all on any new ones, but they also wouldn't pass up the opportunity to get licensed maps. I'm not certain of how verifiable that claim was, but I had heard it repeated from several of my DbD friends since quite a while ago. I think I'd like a new basic map (especially one that has variants) more than a new licensed map tbh.

  4. So here's what I don't get: Chapter 22 is unlicensed and is going to release this year (year 6) and its November. Doesn't that mean chapter 23 will release next year (year 7) which means it would be the first licensed for next year and not the third licensed this year? Basically, I don't see how BHVR's licensed/original rule could work here as year 6 is going to end with 2 originals and 2 licensed.

  5. The coordinates from one of the clues for ch. 22 point toward Pueblo La Noria, which has a pretty infamous cemetery.

I don't think this map is for ch. 22, because I do trust dbdleaks got at least the timeline right. But I wouldn't be surprised if we did get a map for it.

  6. As far as only having 2 licenses per year, it's almost 2022, so surely by the time that chapter 23 would come out we would be set into the new year, so in terms of an annual basis that wouldn't discount a new license?

  7. I thought that map looked too orange and dusty for the conjuring. I think going to be a sub realm of Grave of Glendale, probably the abandoned mining town from the coordinates on the teaser website.

  8. I definitely think that there’s a problem that no one is talking about. The conjuring is linked to a real religion which is somewhat a problem for dbd. Since most DbD players live in the US, where most of the players are either Christians or atheists who wouldn’t mind a survivor linked to christianity, people tend to forget that there are so many other countries where even a hint at a different religion can be inappropriate.
I dont say it’s impossible, I just say that some characters and parts of the story would need to be adapted.
