Yh i can see both sides. It's awesome knowing that we're gonna get a Conjuring chapter, but I also love all the speculation and littles teases coming up to a licensed chapter. Now we're not gonna hav that to at least summer next year :/
im not as bummed out as the chapter 22 characters being leaked but chapter 23 man… all of the dbd info and leaks channels including you will have no info covering the chapter so it sucks pretty bad 😕

It was definitely a spite thing. They have been screwing fans over for far too long. They refuse to make the game function like it's suppose to. They care more about making money off cosmetics than actually working on game issues. The community is one of the most toxic communities ever. The fact that there is still ignorant people claiming one side is favored over the other is childish. Both sides are fucked, both are toxic. Truth is. The game got way bigger than they ever thought it would. Now they don't know what to do.
That's so messed up that they exposed the chapters like that. oh well, im still hyped for the new content they always bring to the game anyway

What they did was pretty crappy for the people who liked surprises and liked to speculate.
I'm still a little bit excited, though. I liked all the Conjuring movies. Except for 'The Curse of La Llorona", that movie, I'd leave alone. It'd be cool if we had Valak (The Nun) or Annebelle as the Killer, with both the Warrens, Ed and Lorraine, as separate Survivors.
It'd also be cool if we had "Insidious" cosmetics, since both "Insidious" and "The Conjuring Series" came from the mind of James Wan. And Patrick Wilson was in BOTH of those movies. Placed as the same role too, the Loving Husband and Father.

A bittersweet feeling, seeing people guessing about the new killers is one of the best parts, completely ruined now. And even tho the Nun (if it is the Nun) seems cool, The conjuring was not one of the licenses i would have love to see next and now i'll have to wait till God knows when to see one of my favourites -_-
I honestly don’t think it’s the nun, so someone that we don’t know said yes, and showed a pic of a random ass graveyard. That’s hard to believe.
I gotta be honest it doesn't bug me. They could give us the whole year in a roadmap form and I'd be just as excited.

I hate leakers. It just ruins all the fun of spelunking. I mean Guilty Gear Strive was out for less than a week and because someone decided to go through the game files we already knew who all 5 DLC we're going to be. Granted that was a dev error for leaving the folders in the game files, but this is just ridiculous. How do you just do this when you were trusted to keep it secret?

I can go ahead and tell u this is not the anniversary chapter bc this is Chapter 23 and the anniversary chapter is gonna be 24.
I think it's a great surprise and now we can look forward to how they implement the leaks into the game. Hopefully we get more leaks as we near the release dates
The nun movie was terrible, but the conjuring 2 was great. I think Valak could be great

4 games in a row without a kill, balanced mmr as u can see, the game is already survivor sided and then they add boons, i hope theese new killer are gonna balance the game
I'm definitely upset that we won't have a big reveal trailer. Other than that I'm exited, only because I love the design of the characters.
What if there was a Killer named The Hook and it was just a hook that could Hook the Survivors as its Power and it couldn't move

I feel like the NFT stuff was completely out of the devs control.
I am disappointed in the leak. The anticipation and speculation make up a big part of the build up for a new chapter. And some clown decided to ruin it for everyone. I hope he does get sued over it. I like the conjuring, so am not upset at the killer, but I would have liked to have been surprised or at least had to work to figure it out.

It sucks for you as a youtuber cuz it cut your content but for us it's OK cuz now we know what to get excited for(like Christmas)it's like when you look forward to game game release years in advance(you know what it is, like ratchet n clank but you still can't wait to actually play it)so I think it's cool to know we are getting another map for instance(there are so few maps in dbd and usually one or 2 or 5(last time)down so I am way interested in a new map(even more than a killer or survivor, though I have enjoy makaela this far 😎👌)I feel you though bro, the talks and specs are also fun…we will just have to find something else to talk about 😊👍

This could hurt DbD's following and hurry along the other transition to VHS but for all of the wrong reasons.
On a different note, I wish that the DbD devs find a swing this as a way to open up some opportunities. I think it'd be pretty cool if the Devs give a sort of walkthrough master-class on how they make their maps for DbD, since we already know all about this one pretty early on in its development. Even stuff like: How do they decide how long or short to make a wall in a loop? etc.
They're going to have to find new ways of creating discussion about DbD outside of the game itself. New ACTUALLY INTERESTING holiday events, or open up cosmetics for killer powers (huntress' throwing hatchets, skins for Victor from the Twins, a different particle effect and syringes for Blight's rush and slams, Bear trap skins, Oni's club). Make some new buyable Mori animations or buyable survivor emotes, that wouldn't be too crazy. New kinds of offerings or new types of items to bring into a trial (I've always wanted a 'crushed soda can' as an item component to the perk Diversion). If they go all out they could find some interesting but not too impactful way of making each survivor unique from other survivors besides just perks- that'd be huge. That's the sort of scope they'll probably need to look at if they want to keep retention high.
See its cool it would be just a conjuring leak not who the killer and map is 3 months in advance with layout and everything now you are just there waiting for content that you already seen same thing with betas
