  1. I don't think i fully understand not wanting a wendigo. It's horror, which includes things like evil spirits and bad omens. Would'nt refusing to add indigenous cultural be more upsetting than adding it? We already have evil spirits from other cultures and that was fine (At least 3 Japanese ones. 2 if you don't include Spirit herself)

  2. On behalf of my Navajo people, we won’t be offended over a digital creature being represented in DBD. My people even joke about skinwalkers and we nicknamed them “yannies” and never once I seen one get Taboo or even heard one about it unless you have enemies then they will curse you. The amount of memes I’ve seen about skinwalkers is crazy and we love them so much. I hate when JUST ONE person gets offended then they cater to that one person feelings while the rest is ignored and deals with the slop. I hope they go in the direction of other culture folklore because it be interesting to DBD and for others to get to learn about the culture. Based on that lady emojis in her name she gets easily offended over anything. Honestly embarrassing as a native.

  3. I'm part irish/Scottish, german, I would be honored if they added in something like a kelpie, or krampus, I find it stupid that 1 person thinks they can voice an entire culture/cultures and say that this game can't have this because it's part of "my" culture. And I understand that indigenous culture's have taboo with skinwalkers, wendigo, I feel like having something from your culture in a game we're the developers do their research on things and would implement it correctly shouldn't be "triggered" by this

  4. I was thinking that the new survivor could be the guy in the video that was camping because it sounds like it, from the text and calls that were talked about I think it was the 3rd or 4th story. And there gonna reveal the full chapter on monday I'm sure before PTB

  6. As an indigenous person, dont let modern idiots and social justice warriors get in the way of showing off culture proudly. So far, my people (Cherokee and Sioux) see alot of "hush hush" amongst elders about the skinwalkers and wendigos, but people also know the importance of sharing culture and education. We allready have too many people getting offended for other people so lets just keep it sane please.

  7. I am getting quite sick of people claiming ownership of culture like they speak for everyone. It is not yours to deny anyone using it.
No one cares, and no one should care if people using things you claim ownership for "triggers" you. Grow up.
ACTUAL people who are from that culture far more often than not would enjoy seeing their culture shared and enjoyed.

It's a fictional creature. It's not real. This is what happens when people grow up never getting told no and getting coddled. They get "triggered" when something they dislike happens.

  8. I'm sorry if this is offensive, I don't want to put myself in the same crowd as people who go after the "woke mob" or whatever, but this genuinely really irritates me. The Wendigos or skin-walkers or whatever they're called in this person's culture AREN'T REAL. Monsters aren't real. Just because they've been oppressed doesn't mean their culture is immune from being adapted and inspiring fiction and media just like every other culture has been for all of time. They're acting like BHVR is adapting the fucking trail of tears and glorifying what happened, THAT would be understandable to get pissed at- but you can't be mad when a monster that isn't real is adapted into a horror story which *also isn't real*. I don't want people to weaponize "wokeness" or whatever you want to call it to police and bully people into only making the kind of art that you deem acceptable, it makes the entire progressive movement look bad.

  9. Ok they did this with doctor. They change the name a backstory but keep the basic idea. itll be a skinwalker. I wish bhvr didnt say anything. but its definately a skinwalker. In the video if you pause on its face its wearing a skin mask

  10. I found out that when u slow the video down to 0.25 speed, u can see two face or two mouths on the killer, so the killer design has possibly two face one when the killer is standing and one on top of its head. But I could be wrong.
