  1. a lot of maps in dbd are pretty static. high variance maps where one loop is weaker and other is stronger is not that common. Like 1vs1 gideon is always going to have same basement, same god pallets, the same everything. the maps where there is rng, the rng is like limited, for example crotus asylum which is nurse map has rng at bottom but rng is limited where it can only be T-L wall, Long-wall or 4 lane wall. So where rng does exist, it is minimal effect. The rng is also healthy because makes survivor have to adapt where as when a map is static, there is no adaption. Gideon for example is always looped in the exact same way. there is 0 skill in that map for that reason and that is not talking about how many of killer are just press spacebar at pallet drop because there is no gameplay at said loop when survivor is at a certain level.
