In this video, I discuss the possibility of more Resident Evil (RE) content in Dead by Daylight (DBD). I go over how the license already has two chapters in-game (Chapter 20 and Chapter 25 (Project W)) and 12 total characters, some examples being Leon Kennedy, Jill Valentine, The Nemesis, Albert Wesker (The Mastermind), Ada Wong, and a lot more! I reach the conclusion that BHVR could indeed add more RE characters with the association of Capcom, some examples being Heisenberg as Deathslinger, Mr. X as Nemesis, andJack Baker as Hillbilly for killers, along with Mia Winters, Zoe Baker, and Ethan Winters as possibilities for survivor skins! All in all, though, it doesn’t seem to lean too heavily one way or the other in terms of more RE coming to DBD, but with some announcements about Japan’s DBD Day coming up, more Resident Evil content could be just around the corner!

Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer (4vs1) horror game where one player takes on the role of the savage Killer, and the other four players play as Survivors, trying to escape the Killer and avoid being caught, tortured, and killed.
Survivors play in third-person and have the advantage of better situational awareness. The Killer plays in first-person and is more focused on their prey.

Personally i would like Lady Dimitrescu to come in as a future chapter killer.
ALTHOUGH I don't think she or any other resident evil characters should come as a chapter again for a good chunk of time. We already have tons of resident evil content as is, other franchises deserve the chance far more than yet another resident evil chapter.

Krauser, given the plagas, could be a Wesker legendary. Just a model, voice, and different menu animation.

I would like to see other IPs first before more RE. Maybe a Bioshock Big Brother and Big Sister, Batmans Scarecrow, Jaws, Terminator, Predator, The raptors from Jurassic Park, Graz'z, Zuggtmoy, or Yeenoghu from DND (yes I love demons) or really a ton of different archatypes that could make for cool original character. Things like Cultists, Werewolves, Devils, Weeping Angles, Oozes and Slimes

They should do a 3rd chapter to represent the modern era. Jack Backer with Mold based powers would be perfect for DBD. I can’t picture Lady D in DBD due to her being too tall. She’s taller than The Nemesis T-Type which DBD had to already shrink down. Ethan, Zoe, Mia, and maybe Rose could work well for survivors. I would love the chainsaw guy from RE4 but as a legendary skin for Hillbilly. Molded monster as a skin for Jack Baker. Ashley would be a cool legendary skin but should have a voice line if a Leon player is in the match and they get hooked they should scream “Leon!”. I would love to also have a Classic Nemesis skin to look how they looked in the original Resident Evil 3 game. Marvel vs Capcom infinite was the last time we saw classic Nemesis with a new modern HD model.

Honestly there’s soooo many skins billy could get considering the amount of dudes with chainsaws in RE: dr Salvador and the chainsaw sisters in RE4, the chainsaw dude in RE5, the chainsaw dude in RE6, in RE Revelations 2 there’s a guy with a power drill that acts just like a chainsaw (and charges at you like billy). But I’d love to see Mr X, Lady Dimitrescu, Lisa Trevor, or the executioner from RE5 as killers (Knight could also get a skin of the knights from RE4 with the parasites sticking out their head). For survivors I’d love to see Barry, RE6 Sherry (could have sepecial voice lines when going against Birkin), or Ashley. Also absolutely need RE6 Ada skin, RE5 Jill skin, and shirtless Wesker 😤
Mr x would be sick
Ngl I would love Ladg Demetri or Mr X as a killer for dbd. Mr X could have a bashing ability that allows you to barge through pallets and breakable walls. He could also charge at the survivors injuring them or colliding them into objects. He could also have a side ability with the power that if he barges into an iinjured survivor whose death hook, he will grab their head and bash it insta killing them. Maybe give Mr X a roar which reveals nearby survivors aura and causes them to suffer the deafen effect?
Lady Dimitri could have a range ability with her long nails that allows her to hit survivors over short obstacles and at a 3.5 meter ranges so kinda like xeno tail but more accurate. She could also transform into her dragon form after getting X injures or downs which will last for 45-60 seconds and in the form, she can fly around the map and pounce on survivors injuring or downing them. During this form, she could also have a running pounce form when not flying. Just like Mr X, she would be able to insta kill any injured survivor whose death hook when in the dragon form and will devour them.
I know these two concepts seems far stretch or a bit OP perhaps but they fit the lore of the characters very well plus fits the design of dbd.
Resident evil has a huge roaster and content that could have at least two more dedicated chapters for resident evil.

Nah we need Lady Dimitrescu, I know she wasn’t the main villain of Re8, but she was definitely the face of it and took the internet by storm. And with her claws/nails, she’d have a good basis to create a power in dbd with.
Honestly Jack has potential to be his on killer maybe with the scissors chainsaw but he can use his mold powers like in the dlc so he would be cool to use and when he comes bro that will be the day I will get him
