I'm excited to see how these boom totems play out. As far as balancing etc I suppose it depends what/how the boom totems work. One thing if like to see added however, is give the killer the ability to cleanse dull totems to. I feel this would make for some interesting game play on both sides 😁

The new survivor could be a priest/nun or more specifically an exorcist, they would light candles and totems or even "effigies" to banish demons
I like the idea but I worry perks will be reworked into boon totems but if that's the case I do hope a increase in its effectiveness

This sounds like a stupid idea the killer already has to much taking up there time. By the time most killers down one good survivors two gens are done. Now you want to take up more time on the killer side with this stupid idea. No wonder the game will never be balanced.

Counterforce is going to become a useless perk after this update, waste the aura on a boon totem. This might make me quit finally thanks bhvr after 3 years you might actually get me to quit
What if these Boon Totems lasted for a limited amount of time? Like, survivor needs to bless it, the effect lasted for lets say 1 minutes, they can reignite it once its expired, but if it got snuffed by killer the perk deactivated for the whole trial
Thinking maybe you can ignite a dull totem which has the ability to stop a dull totem from becoming a hex such as noed or hex plaything , killer can snuff out the totem not destroy it which would allow the totem to be open for becoming a hex again
Killers don't need another objective to manage in their games. The entire purpose of hex totems were to create another optional objective for survivors to discourage gen rushing. Not sure what the mechanical purpose of boon totems will be. Also, Survivor perks are already very strong, so I'm very curious what they will do to make boon totems even worth taking over the strong perks that can't be turned off.
