It is with a heavy heart that I’m passing on the somber news of the loss of Max, who you may know better as the Dead By Daylight Twitch and Youtube content creator Puppers. Max succumbed to ALS on June 2nd, a motor neuron disorder he’d been battling for 3 years since his diagnosis. Max was a light and joy in the Dead By Daylight community and we all miss him terribly. He was my fellow Fog Whisperer and dear friend, and I’m going to attempt to do him any semblance of justice to describe who he was, and what he meant to our Dead By Daylight community.

You battled like a true warrior, my friend. Now it’s time to rest. We love you Max, and we’ll never forget you. If you want to honor Max in the fog you can redeem code “warriorpuppers” to rock his charm on your hip or on your hook in game.

  13. Watching his whole journey and transformation was so heart breaking. I remember taking a long break from dbd and coming back to watch puppers and wondered why he was talking differently then to looping with the foot pedals to being on the side. Rip puppers we love you

  25. When all the lockdowns happened,i was already in a conflict with my doctor that worked against me,just so many things i could have taken him to court for,and had him fired for. And by me re-treating into my home just in front of theese lockdowns,i got hit by something lethal. Things in my own body that triggered my own "death anxiethy",and knowing that there was no way i would be able to contact my doctor about this,my desperation had me googling up "alternative treatments",but being a natural sceptic and afraid of being scammed,i didnt jump on just anyone.

    Until i found this one man,that has been doing it as his job since 1982,i sent him an email. Told him what i felt in my body,how it has triggered my death anxiethy and that it was spreading,what i thought and feard it was. I also told him i wanted to believe in people like him,but i had seen soo many "tv preachers" etc just being over dramatic clowns,and scamming people.

    He replied to me that he got aware of theese "tv preachers",and out of curiosity he decided to show up at theyr gatherings,to observe for himself. And he said it quickly became obvious to him that they were people of big words and absolutely no real action. He said he discovered his ability on his actual work,where he used to use his breaks to meditate and do yoga,he was able to establish connection with something we can not see with our own eyes,a "spirit world". As a sceptic,this sounds like something even i thought of in comedic ways of being people either crazy or being high on strong stuff,right? We all think that,when we cant see it or document it.

    He also said,im not the one healing people,but since im able to establish a connection with "friends" in a spirit world as we like to call it,im the guy that pushes the button,for good energy to be able to come into peoples bodies,and remove the blockages that simply is what makes us sick,or that makes injuries either become permanent or take longer time to heal.

    Im gonna try to cut this as short as possible,to get to where Puppers/Max comes into all of this,dont worry Paulie,im getting there! This is not a load of nonsence/a spam bot lol.

    Anyway,Im laying in pain before me contacting this man,and after i decided to go through with treatments from him. At first i did not feel anything,and he follows me up daily to hear how its going and such,to where he gets theese feedbacks on things not working,where he asks: "Do you by chance have a picture of your mother,back before she got sick?" (I lost her way too early, to sickness,the same sickness i felt like i had) I actually found 2 pictures of her from way back,when she was healty,so i made a little compilation and then emailed him this photo.

    At this point im not getting good sleep at night,as im waking up from my back just locking itself up completely,and my body starts to shut down basically. But then it happens,i have actually passed out due to lack of sleep…..and the thing that wakes me up is not pain,but what feels like waves of energy that are flowing through my body. At this point im really half asleep,half awake so i get really nervous at first,i dont know what is going on as i havent felt this before,or after i stopped getting treatments from him.

    But as im getting more awake,im sitting up in bed and just taking it all in. And what stuns me,is that the waves of energy has gone to all the spots where i was feeling pain,and where i had noticeable things that worried me. It was not imagination or dream anymore,and i remember this took away the pain…..so what did i do? I tried to go back into sleep,as i was exhausted.

    And i slept like a BEAR!🐻That hadnt happened to me for pheeew…months by then. And when i woke up,i had no pain and my body and brain felt more energized,i didnt even have depressing thoughts. And after a few more treatments,i noticed that everything bad slowly vanished and i was back to myself again. Over theese days,i also went to the toilet more frequently,he explains this with the body getting wrid of the junk that created theese blockages. Nothing painful,just normal bathroom duties.

    After experiencing this,i went from being a fullblown sceptic into believing that there is more out there,then what meets the eye. I dont blindly believe in everything,as i know there are scammers and bullshit artists out there,for sure. But this guy i found,he is the real deal.

    Then i got aware of Puppers coming forward with what really bothered him,because i remember he was still up and running,just had a slight trouble pronouncing certain words for a long time,and he thought that he had suffered a minor stroke or something,i guess this was what his doctor had told him? Something like that….

    I know from being a sceptic myself,that introducing healers to other people as a possible life saving thing,might provoce or furtermore stress them out,so i was hesitant to contact Puppers about this. But when he ended up in a wheelchair (still streamed with his buddy Silver),i reached out to him privately. Prior to this i had tried to do the same for my childhood friend that lost first his dad,then his older brother to cancer. But my best friend called it off right away,when i notified him that "there might be a way you havent tried yet". And i said,with someones life on the line,it doesnt hurt to try. But he asked for peace of mind,to be with his family and not stress them out even more with stuff like that,and therefor they lost theyr dad/husband. And by him obviously not believing in healing to be real,i shy`d away from even suggesting it when i heard about his big brother.

    But i contacted Puppers,and i gave him the full information and rundown,even my own story. And i remember he replied to me,curious of what this man that i knew now did. But after i explained in detail what he did,there was no more replies from Puppers,and it really hurt me,as it continued to hurt everytime i saw a new tweet from him,more and more depressed from the fact that his body started to shut down. Puppers was still able to make himself understood verbally when i contacted him. And i said,this does not even have to be costs you have to think of,i will see if i can do anything for you on my own in regards to the financial part,eventhough i dont have alot. Worst case scenario,im sure a few members of your community (me included) would be able to take care of the treatment costs,as this guy is super cheap compared to other people claiming to do the same,i even experienced that he treated me out of the kindness of his heart for free,when i didnt have money to pay him with. Still,there was no more replies and it absolutely destroyed me. Because if my guy could save me,then the chances of him being able to improve Puppers health was pretty good,i thought.

    What i cant stop thinking of now,is why i didnt reach out to Silver or Sunshine instead,maybe without stressing Puppers out. I did not know that they lived with him 24-7 as his caretakers,i thought Silver just came by to help him out by continuing his twitch streams. The only thing i would have needed to pass on to my guy,was Max`s date of birth and his name,or they could have passed it on themselfs. My guy treats all information discreetly between him and the ones he treats. I even asked him if a distance/another country would be an issue or english language was a barrier for him,he said i can start a process with anyone all over the world,it has no limits,and English is no problem at all. All i wished,was that Puppers would give it a go,he had nothing to lose on it. I knew of his financial situation,so he wouldnt have to pay a thing. Puppers was my go-to guy in regards to Fog Whisperers,he was always brutally honest about the game,there were days when he loved the game,there were days where he hated it,mostly on other peoples behalf it seemed,as he encouraged them to play it like he did,find what made the game fun for him and focus entirely on it.
    He never came off "bought by Bhvr",but he also poured love into the game. And i have never laughed as much to anyone playing DBD as when watching Puppers play,the one that comes close must be Meeeows,i have been in her community for 4-5 if not more years now,i consider her a dear friend. She even opened up about watching his compilation video in the LITF stream,that she regret not watching him more,because she was laughing into tears from watching the highlights,and she wished she knew him better then she did.

    Sorry for the length,but as you see the build up sort of had to be done. I might not have been here today writing this,if not for 1 man that distance healed me,if people want to believe it or not. And how i wish this guy would have had the green go at trying to heal Max. Thats how much i wanted him back. I even said to him directly: If you dont feel anything,then at least we tried right? But if you feel great improvement in movement and talking again,then give us feedback so we can make sure that the treatment continues until we got you back to where you want to be. If he only accepted,that was the only requirement. I could have handled it all on his behalf (as you can ask on behalf of a friend,with the name and date of birth,no other sensitive data is required) or they could have handled the information part. If only…. 🐶🥺🐶💞If you ever see SOTS (short for my YT and irl "petname") aka Undertaker part of any raids on you in the future,its me.🥸

  26. I've been so surrounded by loss that it's just mentally taxing. A large part of me regrets not being able to see more of Max while he was around, but another part knows I'd be too devastated by this news if I had known him better. I lost one of my own brothers in December 2021 at the same age Max turns this summer, and a sister a few years before that in July 2017. I know these losses can be utterly unbearable for those close to them, so I wish everyone that personally knew Max the absolute best, and hope all his fans can find some comfort in just how significant his impact was on the community, even to people that never got to watch him much at all.

  28. Thank you so much Paulie. Not many dbd creators who even participated in Light In The Fog have acknowledged his passing, which has been kinda disappointing to see. I know some people are more quiet like that, but seeing not even a retweet, nothing that acknowledged what happened feels weird to me. I just think someone as amazing as Max deserves way more respect than that.

    Sunshine and Silver did amazing, I really hope they're doing well.

  29. So sad to hear this! Ive only watched a few of his videos over the years, but I thoroughly enjoyed them. I appreciate this because I learned what ALS is, and how it affects the body. He was so young. Im so glad that he made an impact on so many while he was here! He will be missed😔❤️❤️

  36. I’m 31 years old I discovered puppers, monto, paulie, Tru3 and every other OG dbd streamer back in 2016 when it finally released on ps4. It’s a sad time for sure and I’m grateful you posted this. He changed my life forever with his positivity every stream. So grateful I got to know him through that and even got to play with him a few times. ❤

  38. I lost a cousin to the same disease, can't imagine how the families go through it I was barley around my cousin but he was a good guy, can't imagine what his kids gone through, so I'm praying for this family too cause ALS is a horrible disease

  42. He was such an amazing person and an inspiration to the DBD community. He will be severely missed and always a light in the fog. I have not had the opportunity to meet him, but he exuded positivity and happiness in anything he did. I have some clips from when I bought him a birthday present, and seeing his reaction made me so happy. What a strong video Paulie you pulled through and stuck to your heart puppers would and is proud of you wherever he has gone I'm glad that you monetized this personally I think there are right and wrong reasons to do so but this is the best way to make it matter and I hope it adds up quickly and fixes all the issues that were left behind in his passing all in all beautiful video and I hope he rest in peace
