These are the highlights of my stream from yesterday, the day that Hawkins died. Yesterday was the day that the Stranger Things license for Dead By Daylight expired, and the Hawkins Laboratory map was closed forever. Wamps and I waxed philosophically about the what ifs and what could have beens with Stranger Things and Wamps adapted Hopper’s letter to Eleven as a goodbye to our Stranger Things chapter. So beautiful. Not a lot of playing just a lot of chatting as we come to terms with this loss on the final day.

Maybe now we can get the RPD map. I still have only played on it twice and it's been months.
I really miss the map, i get sad seeing it in videos now knowing i can't experience it.
They took away the licence so they can make… A DUMB PUZZLE GAME..

One of the coolest things I ever watched on your channel was the quest for the golden toolbox on Hawkins. And during that quest on that whiteboard, an awesome gesture of affirmation from the Dev's themselves, that the man with the tinfoil hat and dogging determination to solve any puzzle they threw at him, was beloved not just by the community, but by BHVR itself, and had earned his own little spot in the realm of the Entity. I hope they can find a way to bring back Hawkins and the Stranger Things DLC for the new players. BHVR did a great job with the chapter and did justice to the show and the characters when they made it. I really think it was a mistake for Netflix not to renew the license. Maybe they will see the folly of their ways one day.
I don't think Netflix making their games in necessarily the main reason. They just seem to dislike the very idea of extending licensing agreements before the release of a new season. The same thing happened to both Stranger Things games from BonusXP. Their second game (Stranger Things 3: The Game) was actually removed from Steam shortly before the announcement from BHVR that Stranger Things would be leaving Dead by Daylight too. As for Telltale – they didn't pull it, Telltale just went bankrupt before they could finish the product.

I'm actually very sad that the chance to get Hawkins was still very low. Like the past few days my friends and I kept playing Steve, Nancy and Jonathan and got Hawkins just once. Even with the higher chance of getting it, nothing. Wish they made it much higher for the last day at least
