Join Dead by Daylight to celebrate Halloween in classic style with The Midnight Grove Event Tome.

From October 21st to November 4th, the Entity’s Realm will be transformed in classic Halloween style welcoming new Survivor Mikaela Reid into the Fog with decorated hooks and generators, Halloween-themed items, an eerie new lobby, and interactable pumpkins aplenty.

For the 2-week duration of the event, players are invited to complete special event challenges, earn (very) limited-time cosmetic outfits, and unlock a series of special spooky stories written by Mikaela herself for the Endless Halloween Festival. Unravel the mysteries of The Midnight Grove while you can – once the Event Tome closes, its secrets will be taken with it to the grave.

  1. The perfect game for horror ofc, But its developed by the wrong people… This game could of turned out so much more better honestly and its sad to see it fall like this. It's honestly trash and I played it during beta and after for a while. I quit a while back though because I cannot stand how bugy and shit the hitboxes are. The way everything works is ok ig but ffs this game could of been so much more better and I'm so disapointed on that. BHVR Go back to making princess games and let someone else take over and rework this shity game! TY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. How about prioritizing reports and make your game work without crashing/bugging with something every single time we play it or update it. It's always something wrong. You devs are seriously the most lazy devs I've ever encountered ngl

  4. Since that Halloween update, the game is crazy laggy. after you unhook a survivor or get unhooked, the person who gets down from the hook is freezing on the spot.
The killer can attack that person, who got unhooked while the survivor can’t even WALK.
And I guess me or some other people who have the same issue won’t be able to play the event because of these issues.
I am not expecting a hot fix.
But instead of giving free Bloodpoints and
    Special offers for costumes,
Could you please fix these lags for the future?

And the hackers on high rank… gosh…

  5. The only shred of new real content this update was a new survivor, whom immediately had the strongest of her three perks removed.

    Quick Rant:
Mikaela came out with 2 boon perks, which bless totems. Due to an issue where on certain maps, a boon totem couldn't be snuffed out as intended by the killer, they disabled ONE of the TWO boon perks, as well as the offerings to the maps where these totem placements are problematic. Mind you they didn't fully remove the maps, just the offerings to go to them, and they didn't fully remove the boons, as they left in one of the two boon perks. So they essentially employed a half-assed workaround to keep the game in a 'playable' state until they actually get the boons fixed. And what makes this even worse, is I bet they found out about this during the PTB testing phase, but pushed it to live anyways without saying anything because they didn't want to impact the sales of a new character, seeing as how that's the main thing they were likely to make much money from this update. So they leave it for about a day or two, rack in some money, then disable one of her perks. This could be entirely wrong, but even if it is it displays that they are clearly doing something wrong when a day after new content is released, a third of the content as well as a host of existing content is almost immediately removed because their PTB is so inefficient.

  6. It literally took 3 days for you guys to even make this event playable for all. Console players suffered the most from this event. Lack of testing on the devs part 😓
