  1. I little bit more lore for those who want to know (summarized from the DbD wiki):

The Trickster used the screams of his victims in his music, hiding them behind the beat and rhythm of the tempo. His manager, Yun-Jin, who had spent her entire life trying to make a name for herself in the industry, was the first to notice this. However, she brushed it off as exhaustion on her part because she was trying to keep Ji-Woon's momentum going and keep the Mightee One executives off both their backs. However, luck would not be in their favor because the executives soon blamed Ji-Woon for their plummeting sales, believing his music wasn't generating enough revenue and was too "niche" for a wider audience. Though Yun-Jin tried to fight on his behalf, the Mightee One executives gave Ji-Woon a three month deadline to make a comeback. In those three months, he did make a comeback, but not in the way they thought.

Using cannisters of nitrous oxide on the day he was supposed to perform in front of them, he knocked everyone in the room out – including Yun-Jin. Believing her to be the only one who ever fought for him, he tied her up and left her in the "audience" while he played an orchestra using the flesh and blood of the executives. It was only after he was done and turned to Yun-Jin that the Fog developed him, enticing him with his most delicious temptation: the screaming and crying of people who he delighted in harming.

  2. Tbh, I like this different take on a killer bc the Korean music industry is a business.

Idols have to be "beautiful" for the fans, can't date (for the fans to fantasize a relationship with), and is pretty much a tool for the business and fans.

Adding on, being an idol in Korea is highly stressful too.
