  1. I think the reason they are scared to buff Pop right now is because it does pair well with Pain res. Houndmasters broken compass perk brought so much for scourge hooks that it can make hangman’s trick work. I think BHVR is scared because using pain res is 25% of a Gen and Pop is an extra 20% of current progress which is of course variable.
    However if I were to buff it. I’d make Pop do 30% of current progress, a bit high yeah but Pop requires you to find the Gen with the highest progress and then kick it in the time frame.
    (Just remembered when typing but Houndmasters Broken compass reveals the Gen with the most progress.) Pain res + Pop + Broken compass = Value.

  2. 7:35 and I think that is the Problem with pop.
    When a Perk is 3 times in a problematic Meta because it synigese so good with the ohter Perks while also be very Strong than the Perk needs to be changed or it will also be a Part of the Problem in one of the next metas

  3. Honestly might be a hot take but I think the overall meta of perks are generally "balanced" at least without getting specific to a certain killer/build with a killer. Been playing since 2018 so might be just experienced with past metas or me just being an old dbd head lol but anyways good vid Kuhssir : )

  4. The "not so meta anymore"-Perk since they nerfed almost any good killer-perk to the ground. BHRV seems to like hating killers which are playing fair, because slugging and tunneling are SO MUCH MORE rewarded right now then playing the game normally.

  5. Corrupt, Pop, Tremors or BBQ and STBFL, Infectious, Sloppy, Enduring or Discordance being the meta back in 2019 was the healthiest meta the game ever had and got flipped on its head as soon as Undying came out.

  6. I'm glad you made a video on the subject. I remember reading BHVR's reasoning for nerfing Pop, and I thought, to be blunt, it was really stupid. The activation requirements aren't necessarily "easy", and it rewards killers for actually hooking, whereas now slugging seems to be much more common of a strategy. Even more ironic that the #1 used survivor perk, Windows of Opportunity, has no activation requirement. It simply gives you some of the best information you can get for free.

    Pain Res also caught a nerf due to its insanely high usage rate, where once again, Windows is the most used survivor perk by a large margin, yet hasn't been nerfed. I say this as someone who plays both sides fairly evenly. The logic just doesn't make sense.

  7. I’m sorry but the take that “Pop being a supporting perk instead of the best perk in the game is sad” is terrible, that’s literally the ideal way a perk would work vs one of the worst ways it could work
