If you were still wondering, yes the scammers have some kind of program or algorithm to scan for fancy skins. I had scammers in my dms within minutes of unboxing a knife, and it stops if you set your profile and inventory to private, because I guess they can only scan public profiles.
Also the story of your daddy and you talking on the phone and him playing warzone and saying he was on the gulag is amazing HAHA
