  1. This mindset can apply to any game. Mute them if there is a chat feature, ignore their actions and don't let their words get to you. The best teams in counterstrike have lost 16-0 or 16-1 to other very good teams, does that make them bad? No they just had a bad game.

If you're new, you'll improve, you just need to stay positive and have an open mind and ignore the external pressures. Ultimately, it's a game and the goal is to have fun. Even if you get stomped, try to have fun in it somehoe and make it a productive loss by learning. Or just play a different game, maybe don't quit forever but take a break, sometimes it just isn't your day.

Play games to have fun regardless of the outcome and you'll always win.

  2. My solution Is simple, regardless if i win or loose i always have the end game chat closed, only chcecking my stats and i leave, not seeing what survs are typeing helps you avoid getting triggered on why you camped or tunneled, i just do what i need to kill the survs and iam out, it's a cold approach but it works. Toxic Killers is a defense reaction that came from Toxic Survs btw.

  3. Ya know at first those survivors that chase the killer and follow them around I found annoying as a killer main but once you figure out that they arn't holding M1 and doing gens. if you just keep finding other survivors they become helpful for you by slowing the game down by not doing anything helpful for the team

  4. After today's dev report, I feel a little bit on the fence. They're bringing some (strangely) good changes in the next PTB, but I'm still not sure about the Undying rework and how the Afterpiece Solution can also affect survivors.

We'll have to see how it comes out.

  5. I’m done they nerf another killer perk in favor of survivors without addressing keys . I’m just do what the Director said and play another game but I won’t be coming back to this dying game . Good luck with your 10 min plus q times because no one wants to play killer .

  6. I don't really agree with some things said in this video. I almost always play killer, and I don't really think all things are this bad, most survivors are not this toxic, and despite bad matchmaking, I believe that this game is rather balanced and not designed for the killer to lose, I think saying that would be a slight overreaction. This is not to say that this game doesn't have problems, and of course there are bad matches, but you just have to toughen up and deal with it. I also believe that as a killer it is your responsibility to make it fun for the survivors, because believe it or not, survivors aren't the only toxic players, many killers constantly complain and tunnel and camp, which is kind of unfair to survivors, so as a killer, you can help make it better, letting someone get hatch every once in a while, not using toxic perks, and not constantly complain about survivors. I understand that people are different and I respect your opinion, but I just think that it is unnecessary to say that the game is a chore and that you shouldn't play it, especially to new players, because believe me, as a person with a couple hundred hours into this game, it can be a lot of fun.

Edit: Gosh I wrote a fricken bible

  7. really nice message! When I started to play this game a year ago, I only played survivor because playing against toxic swf groups are so stressful and annoying. Right now I started to play killer more but I noticed that there are alot of smurfing swf groups… I just wish there was a option to deactivate swf like crossplay…

  8. There are great Survivor mains, but if I run into a particularly toxic person in this game they almost always are exclusively survivor players who probably specifically joined this game because they watched certain content creators who only make videos about being as toxic as possible in game to 'troll'.

  9. Thanks for making this video, Space. Hearing some of those posts makes me sad and I can really feel the pain those people go through. I tried to play trapper at rank 20 and have fun learning him but then a swf that had red ranks in it just bullied me the whole game. I kind of gave up on killer and only play survivor. But after watching this video, maybe I'll give killer another try. My heart goes out to you and all other killer mains that have been bullied.

  10. It sucks when you finally get better as Killer but survivors trash talk you and treat you like garbage because you did well. Every Killer Main feels like an underdog story and its hard not to cheer for them once you see how they're treated on the daily.

  11. Believe it or not this game has caused me to be bullied way more than has ever been possible in my life. But if you’re a SWF team that all wield intense flashlights, rare parts on toolboxes, Decisive Strikes, Adrenalines, Borrowed Times & Unbreakables, you’re just making the game too easy for yourselves! I’m just a simple Wraithy boi farming for bloodpoints by playing the game.

  12. Theirs no shame when you are in a game that handicaps you from the start. So what if you lose? When the devs make you wear weighted shoes and tie one arm behind your back. Or do as they say and play something eles. I mean even the devs thinks that the best solution.. just don play their game!

  13. Well yes the Video was good and all…. but I still Don't know what to do against Survivors. Chases go ages.
And when I finally get them I-oh nope, dead hard. Or I slug 2 peo-nope they got Unbreakable.
What if I hoo-nono Deliverence is there. Or I tunnel becouse the Exit is Right th-Decisive strike!

And then when I use Noed to get a Kill they will be salty. Even if they have their own OP perks.
And I know that without even having a chat on switch. I'm usually a very Nice Killer. I Farm with the Last 2 Survivors if I destroy them. Or give Hatch. Or play nice in general.
Yeah but the survs will still be toxic.

I've even been labeled either an Entitled Killer or a Survivor Main because of my opinion and experience, with the game.
I even like survivor more than killer becouse it is less frustrating.

    Nice Video Mr. Coconut…

  14. thank you for this video, Space. i needed to hear these words to mentally prepare myself to try and ignore the stupidity of the players i go against and play with.. i'm already struggling because of my past, but people like you help me to become stronger, even if it's through a video or a stream <3

  15. DBD is a casual group game and shouldn't be played competitively. It's dumb fun. If you let people who think DBD is a game that requires real skill get to you, you'll always feel like a loser. Just think! If this was a shooter or fighting game then I'd probably accept the losses as my fault, but it's not a game that you can always win by being skilled or lose by being bad. It's unpredictable and random every match. Don't take DBD seriously… I personally play for blood points and only get annoyed if I don't get more than 8k per match as survivor and 20k as killer. I play for the grind (and enjoy it for some reason.)

  18. Thank you for this inspirational video. Maining killer has its difficulties and hardships. I lost 5 games in a row with toxic survivors. Your words helped me alot , just knowing that someone cares makes me feel better. Thank you for being my favorite dbd content creator and I look forward to your next video 🖤✨

  19. without having watched the video (yet) my best advice would be to keep chat closed! always!
if you had a bad match and feel upset for whatever reason, honestly, take a break! do it! it'll just get worse…. playing tilted you just make mistakes.

  20. I used to feel this way, I felt terrible and wanted to stop playing the game. But then I realized that’s what they want, I’d be letting them win if I uninstalled. So I practiced. I got the game right when Oni came out, so I saved up shards and got him. I practised him so much that now I know every tile on every map and how to run it with Onis power. I make them FEAR the brutal demon samurai charging towards them, and I don’t show mercy anymore. Great video as always space.

  21. I started playing the game alot around when the blight came out and I ended up getting rank 1 on survivor and killer but to me it felt like there was actually more of a learning curve on survivor

  22. Survivors will consistently get angry for camping, tunneling and slugging. But the reality is, some situations that present themselves in game dictate you, as killer, to do one or more of those 3 things or you will lose the match. Imo the key to being a successful killer is to throw the "survivor rulebook" out the window.

  23. Honestly, I'm playing killer after my own rules and they work out pretty well.
    1. Teabag or spam your flashlight and everyone gets slugged and bullied.
    2. If you use the meta build or bring a key, you're the first to die.
    3. Be a fair and respectful player and you'll get hatch.
    4. (This is a fun one) write hurtful things in chat or comment on my profile saying things that are NOT OKAY just once because of your sad survivor life and a report goes directly to steam.

  24. What you said at the end is quite lovely, and true for me as well. Practicing to get good enough to beat the teams that used to squash me. Even though I have to be twice as good as them to beat them, it's still worth it to put away a squad that, just a few months ago, would have cleaned my clock

  25. This was very helpful in understanding the game and why I go through what I go through as a trapper/hag main at green ranks. I moved to dbd from Friday the 13th, plenty of bullies there too. They are everywhere as you put it. Thanks for such good content.

  26. New killer here. Learn to lobby dodge – it's made a huge improvement on my mental health. It's a killer's market in lobbies, survivors are waiting to play with YOU. I see someone in bloody prestige gear, my yellow rank booty is OUTIE. Same for neon Neas, or SWF groups. Doing this gets me matched with people *my actual rank*, and lo, the games are more fun 🙂

  27. What I do Is If Im going against toxic survivors and I don’t get them all or some of them and If they get to the gate Ill literally be across the map waiting on the timer to go down while going to get my food. Cuz I know they will bag away.
