I think the perk changes are cool, they suck for both sides, but that's the point, they get rid of everything annoying to play against on both sides from which a new meta can be born, maybe more fun, maybe less, but progress through chaos. Healing changes maybe went a bit too far though, don't know about that, maybe don't change altruistic healing or medkit charges too much.

    As for Billy, I applaude BHVR, somehow they managed to nerf both driftking and curve play styles in one move, a most astounding performance reminiscent of their Pig balance philosophy. Truly a balance decision of all time, as bad as it may be, it requires talent which only BHVR has.

  2. I'm gonna be honest, calling it a a disaster is really is a a bit disingenuous, are all the changes great? No i will grant that, but most of the changes had to happen , coh,dh brine and overcharge had to change, i side with pixel bush on this one these changes are great and are actively gonna make the game more healthy, plus the healaing nerfs considering how strong healing is also needed to change, all these changes are GREAt for the game

  3. There are some great changes. Overbrine for killers, Circle of Healing, Dead Hard and Medkits for survivors nerfed? And a Gas Heaven rework? Great. Pain Res nerfed? Ehhhh, I think it just needed to only work on unique hooked survivors, ie not the same survivor twice in a row, but I see the logic behind the nerf. Billy and Altruistic healing nerfs? What the fuck are you doing BHVR are the first thoughts that come to mind. Especially since no gen perks or toolboxes got nerfed and combined with regression nerfs that is very scary.

    Edit: Obviously though I have to say, I think the visual terror radius changes and bloodweb being faster are really really good changes but I mean those are non balance related things. Now can we finally get an FOV slider for killer?

  4. Bruh wesker, blight, nurse, billy, bubba, deathslinger?, pyramid head, hunteress, twins dont have slowdown anymore, and the killers that do only have surge and they didnt even make changes to counteract this they instead buffed an ok genrush perk. B R U H

  5. The fact that they Killed Call of Brine and Pain Resonance just makes me want to run extremely oppressive anti heal builds instead. Gen perks are pretty much garbage across the board now. Back to Pop I guess.

    For Survivors, I'm just gonna drop DH and use Lithe. Brown Med Kits got slightly buffed so I'm good. I don't use CoH.

    To me, it looks like Killer loses again.

  6. 17:29 You talk about how 90% of what you read upset you when Behaviour made 25 changes (counting all medkit adjustments as one single change). Throughout the video you only complained or stated you didn't like a change 5 times. The things you complained about were, Billy, base kit healing, pain res nerf, overzealous, and artist crows. If my math checks out that means you only disliked 20% of the changes and were either fine/liked 80% of them. "I'm not trying to be a negative Nancy" are your words, and yes, you are being a Negative Nancy. I get you are right about the Billy changes being dumb and you playing him a lot, but please don't pretend to overreact about the update as a whole.

  7. 16 seconds or 24 seconds why is anyone healing at the hooks anyway? That should almost never happen. And there's still some good gen defense that hasn't been blown up yet. Corrupt intervention, dead man's switch, deadlock, etc. I appreciate this blowing everything up style. I've had way too much of Bhvr making minor changes here and there. 1% change to this perk. 2% change to that power, etc. That's what's irritating to me.

  8. 7:24 I don't think Pain Res' is an earned Slowdown.
    You get the slowdown by doing your normal objective (chasing/hooking survivors). It's like having a perk that automatically heals you while doing a gen. "You earned it because you had to do the gen and even have the RNG that a gen is near."

  9. Thana does not affect healing speed anymore and also there are perks to increase healing speed at base value – Botany and We'll Make It. Maybe survivors will swap some of their meta perks to complement healing. I do not understand what the big deal is. Also you can slap Resilience and get value out of being wounded. Sprint Burst and Lithe on the other hand are not all that strong, some killers are very fast and the ones who are not can still keep up easily. DH after the change at pallets has no counter and also is like "get away from me meta", after the nerft at least we will see which survivors were good at looping and which got carried by a braindead perk. Most of these changes are very good and I hope every midchapter patch will adjust broken stuff still in the game.

  10. To be honest, I was following you for some time and I really liked your opinions but now I think you just missed completely. The dead hard problem was needed to take care, also the healing one. Yet you defend that changes. Also the disrespectful way you mention that if you cannot win without call of brine or any other gen regression perk is just sad. You compare your skills, which by the way, are PRO, to people who play just for fun and must face gen rush teams who literally obliterate killers not to mention that "price thyself"was NOT TOUCHED. Sadly, I will have to unfollow since you have lost perspective.

  11. I personally dont mind the nerf to circle of healing, medkits may be a bit too much. I think if you bring a strong medkit you should be able to heal quick, then again the killer always has counters to that if he sees it in lobby. Dead hard is legendary change. I may be biased because the changes dont really effect me I only run all item hunting and huntress aura builds.

  13. Why did they nerf healing? Why did they kill slowdown perks? Why? Why?

    Well, does everybody remember the 400+ videos complaining about Skull Merchant 3 gens? They fixed it. Everyone complained and they fixed it. No more 40-50 minute matches. The killer can't regress gens fast anymore and the survivors can't run off in far corners and heal themselves constantly.

    Problem solved.

  14. This dev update i can see killing the game if they go through with it, mostly the healing changes, tho they also butchered some perks too much, same with boon CoH, all they needed to do was make it so only the person that set the boon can self heal while other teamates only get the aura

  15. Imo alot of good and alot of bad in this. Three gen meta is gone and now killers who are not good at the game cant just kick gens and win, or hold a three gen instantly.

    Survivors cant extend a chase by 2 more minutes by pressing E (atleast for the first chase). Would have liked to see bhvr give survivors just a little bit more pushback against tunneling though

  16. Exactly the reason I stopped playing Billy, and everytime there is a new map, it’s just not as good on him since there is so much platforms in the way. I also dislike the fact that they nerfed billy and technically buffed nurse in the same patch. And I also dislike the fact that healing another survivor is the same amount as the medkit, I feel like it should stay 16 seconds so it’s beneficial for both sides. And selfcare needs a buff in my opinion.

  17. I guess they want more people to bring self care again because of these healing changes. I guess their idea was to help M1 killers split pressure with these changes to healing which I mean it does help them but idk seems a bit much. I agree with you.

You are very self absorbed, it is a wonder how you even have a platform and no where during your incoherent rant was there even an iota of intellectual reason for your opinion of these changes and you simplt come off as a BHVR paid survivor stand that does not play killer CASUALLY and that is what is happening with this garbage game. It is being pushed to comp levels on every damn match and IMO BHVR is using the comp parts of their game dictate the changes. I've already uninstalled lol since it is clear they want nothing more than a gen rush and tunnel champ meta going forward.

  19. Great patch. I feel like we need to wait until after it comes out onto the PTB or live before dunking on it to see how everything plays out in the long run
