At the end of the day the more they Nerf killer perks. The more Killers will play scummy. They just need to buff weaker killers and Nerf a select few killers. How are we supposed to keep up with hundreds of perks if they keep changing the description of them I feel like I have to study for a test before I hop onto this f**** game sometimes
At this point I would love if all killer man's switch to nurse and blight and spirit. And play them for 2 weeks straight forcing the devs to do something about this.
Being that I literally just Prestiged clown for the Pop Perk I am sad, but as a Sable main I'm stoked for that ritual. Being a wesker main I'm not upset with the hindrance nerf but I think the infection hook nerf was a bit extreme
Biggest issue with the sabo changes is that now killers will be more incentivized to slug since picking is so risky nowadays, but all you'll get is just more survivors complaining
I never used pain res. It’s incredibly overrated in its current state and after the nerf it’s a complete joke. You have to keep track of hook states, only get four tokens max, have to bring perks to carry survivors further, and it’s 25% on ONE gen and that is getting nerfed down to 20%. That is absolute trash. Pop is so much better on every killer other than the ones that have to camp one part of the map like basement bubba/trapper. I’ll still use pop probably but wow I’d rather keep all the powerful survivor perks in their current state than have this gen rush, tunneling and slugging meta we’re about to create.
I’m just hoping Vecna is a good and hope BHVR does not put the killer perk changes thru.
Edit: the main problem is BHVR only plays survivor so they go against good killers and they lose but as a killer they don’t go against good survivors… so they don’t know the damage they do to us killers.
Ummm…. If you run Vigil with Background Player now you have it ready EVERY 12 SECONDS. Think about that every 12 SECONDS. As a survivor main that is DISGUSTING. Also, I’m glad I’m not the only one who hated Chucky, that free hit is frustrating not scary. Especially if the Chucky was tunnely, made for the most unfun games ever.
Dude, I'm only at 20 hours on my p8 nemesis going against p100 survivors rocking hard meta swf. To keep up I had to start bringing gen regression. I used to like ruin, but these players know the spawn and its gone instantly. Pain res, deadlock and pop are the only viable alternatives to meta players. Its so sweaty playing weaker killers. I can win a match under half the time when i play my p1 nurse or p5 spirit. So i absolutely agree they need to buff weaker killers and bring them closer to nurse and blight. Rather than just nerf high pick rate perks
Deadlock was most likely nerf due to one build causing survivors to not be able to do gens idk the specfic but basically the build involved blocking gens when in chase and getting stunned by pallets basically making stalling the killer pointless

Nah cause why would they buff toolboxes when theirs a perk that makes toolboxes infinite rn and then nerf almost all good gen regression perks

I feel like they should make it so Perks fit into categories, and you can only take one perk from a category.

As a person who runs background player regularly, this feels like a buff more than a nerf
They've already been making things easier for survivors and now they kill pop?
