  1. I’ve noticed for a couple years now that the DBD team release very similar killers close to each other so the new mechanics can be used more than just once. Nemesis and Pyramid Head have similar power and they dropped 2 chapters apart and now Dredge and Sadako are pretty much the same thing, with Dredge being stronger. They’re running out of ideas so all the new perks are just variations or upgrades to existing perks and powers.

  2. I don’t necessarily think the comparison is very fair. Yes, Dredge’s teleport is much better in chase, but Sadako isn’t a chase killer. She’s a stealth killer. The two play completely differently. Due to the massive power boost you get in Nightfall, I think Oni is a more fair comparison

  3. I really hope they don’t nerf it into the ground once Nightfall is fixed. They’re already good, a fixed Nightfall can easily make them A Tier, maybe even S Tier with the right addons. This is Anniversary season, give us a great Killer

  4. I hate how Dredge is just a floating mass with a black column beneath it. The black smoke looks so janky and unfinished. They should've either given it some Lovecraftian legs, or just removed the black column altogether.

  5. It's possible that BHVR has their hands tied with Sadako's design. They may want to do changes and updates to her to make her stand out more against the Dredge, but the license holders may be requiring them to force Sadako into a simpler spot of teleport/demanifest.

    Something they could do is increase your Comdemnation when you're top close to one of her televisions. This could make her significantly more threatening.

  6. Can someone please explain to me what does the remnant do in Dredge's power ? Is the remnant basically a fake body similar to Spirit's husk when she's phasing ?

  7. Not because I want him nerfed, I'm sure BHVR will nerf him by giving him the pyramid head nerf where you have to wait a second before being able to basic attack after using his power.

  8. They really have run out of idea haven't they? I mean I'm glad they finally made a new killer and isn't garbage but I think they have gone creatively bankrupt on every since of the word. They really should give this franchise someone who would actually care about improving the game.

Sadako just needs to have some more tvs spawn in each map (maybe about 3-4 more) and have a fat buff to condemned be way more threatening and something that can't be so easily ignored or gotten rid of. Like start adding certain effects that make doing shit a bit more difficult as condemned gets higher and higher. Slower healing, slower totem cleansing/blessing, inflict fatigue after a certain amount, fuckin anything is better than nothing at all.
    Better yet have condemned build a bit faster across the board. Like not holding a tape but being condemned still very slowly builds condemned levels and holding a tape basically has the same effect as having yoichi's fishing net on.

  10. Am I missing something? I really don't understand why nightfall is useful if you don't use certain add ons. He makes so much noise that the undetectable doesn't really do anything.. I honestly don't know what the point of it is

  11. As a Sadako main, seeing how similar yet better this new killer is sucks. Here's hoping Sadako gets some meaningful buffs in the coming updates. I love playing her, but it gets old pretty quickly when you're against even average survivors.

  12. Dredge is great, but man, fine Sadako player kills 2/3 of survivours before their final hook. Dredge not the 'better in every way' at all. They both are pretty good.

  13. The only thing I can think of them maybe a cool-down if you go back to your remnant in-order to m1. Just like the cooldown on PP Head Sword. Many killers tend to get a small nerf if they got one of thos anti-loop "you lose the 50/50 no mater what unless you have distance and/pre-drop. Tho Distance is everything… even pre dropping doesn't really save you anymore unless you have 2 down pallets to chain next to each other/window. It might be just me but I'm not a fan of new DBD meta just being in order to counter a killer you have to just W key and or comp drop pallets. I miss the mind gaming (the chess plays) etc in early years to try to out mind-game your opponent
