  1. Ruin was also too far.

Not only did ruin tend to be destroyed in the first first 3 minutes of that match since version 1 of the perk.

But even the regression from version 2 of the perk still regressed gens slower than survivors got them done.

On top of that the perk is just stupid now.
It can be destroyed on the first 3 minutes same as before and if survivors get wrecked too hard or simply dc you lose it anyway.

I don’t think there any other perk to where you just lose it if the other side is playing bad.

  2. Of course they would keep it just as toxic but not nerf it to the ground just proves the game is killer sided. Should make it 6 against one then maybe gen perks won’t be so annoying to people

  3. The devs seem to be under the impression that inflicting exposed at a distance is a strong, scary thing. It's really not. A good survivor can wait it out even in chase. Even on-command exposing like with Ghostface needs to be applied strategically because a good pallet can mean you no longer get the down.

  4. 10% or 9 seconds for eruption is not much… But if we consider pain res being one of the best regression perks and it is 15% or 13.5 seconds is not that different tbh… Ofc with eruption you have to kick gens but u can apply it to multiple gens at once so… Not a good perk but not that useless either in my opinion, maybe combined with other gen kicking perks which are already meta

  5. Background Player's new effect is also a good way to counter a backpack build because so many people still fall for this and end up giving the killer 2 extra downs because they can't position themselves properly or they are overtly aggressive and then mess up after taking the first hit.

  6. You know shit must have been VERY bad for BvH to buff her on most aspects, but even then, she still look awfully uninteresting.

Oh and the fact that tagged survivors can now hack is probably the a bigger nerf than all these buffs combined.

  7. Decisive strike, was too frustrating. Vault speed build, was too frustrating.
    Iron will, was too frustrating.
Insta heals was too frustrating. The list goes on, let’s not act like they haven’t done anything for killer players.

  8. I think its funny that once a survivor sees eruption occur they cant just use the new ui to try time jumping off the gen before they're teammate is downed. They literally give them new ui and they still cant figure it out

  9. I think the sad truth on why people weren't insulted with the eruption nerf is that there aren't really any true killer mains left as big streamers :/ Now most 'killers' are really just Survs dabbling in the killer role for the bp buffs

  10. I don't think they know what they did with that disable drone even with claw trap nerf. When I played the skull merchant, having drones everywhere did help put pressure on the survivors. Now I am sure coordinated teams will be disabling those with one person eating the trap over and over. This is going to feel terrible as you put a drone down just to know it will be disabled shortly by the same survivor.

  11. Infectious Fright/Lightborn going to be necessary for killers to use this upcoming patch, because that Background Player perk guarantees all Flashlight Saves when the killer isn't looking straight into a wall.

  12. "I basically just say what I'm thinking."

Yea, it's blunt honesty, the most honest anyone can be. People may think of you as rude, unfiltered, maybe even mock you, but they can't argue that you are anything but honest. Truth hurts, these days people would rather live in ignorance than accept a hard truth. But that's the appeal, it's why we follow you. Because you're honest, and honesty is hard to come by these days, Tru3.

  13. They need bring back old ruin & pop again because this shit is just ridiculous for survivors now. These perks gonna be stressful when I play as a killer oh well🤷.

Eruption was good for doing the slow down with these gen rushers but now it’s 10%😐. I don’t know this changed will not do anything.

  14. The devs are always on their hands and knees 🍆 for survivors handing out crap 24/7, we already can't get a draw against certain teams of swf why are they ignoring that and continuing to kill the game faster I don't get it, "background player" wtf man just play your game so you understand how stupid it and you are

  15. I think because you Tru3 actually play killer to be good others just go survivor and don't care. Like sometimes you see other people playing killer and they face survivors running around not doing gens, suck at looping and no teamwork that it's obvious that they have no idea what balance is for the hight "mmr" for killer. I dare say they are delusional of what the state of killer balance is because they don't really face it.

  16. They were doing so well, hate the nerf but it was needed w/ other changes, but I wish they would have chosen a different direction.

They needed to allow a way for survivors to remove claw traps and drones while also increasing claw trap duration.
With the increased duration and removal of CDs to place drones her 3 gen would have been far to strong as she could then place drones faster than they were removed.
This is tbh my least favorite way to fix it but they did need to do something.

I would have preferred just making it take 16 seconds to remove a clawtrap w/ another survivors help or a toolbox while it still had charge. This change makes clawtraps so much less of a threat its kind of annoying… If they needed to get help from another survivor or use a toolbox to remove traps early they could retain the inability to remove drones w/ a claw trap. While also adding in a neat stalling interaction.

But at the very least they could make it automatically lock-on to a survivor who removes a drone w/ a clawtrap.
I STILL just want lock-on to do something to injured survivors.

On Eruption and current vs total progress. Current progress is only ok if they increase the % its crazy to me. 10% is at least 9 seconds of regression. At least its still useable.
TWACK should have tokens… Still would be meh.

  17. I think for eruption, they should have removed the incapacitated, like they did, but increase total progress to 15%. Incapacitated was just bad for the game. It left people not playing the game for half a minute. Not a good design.

  18. I don't know if background player will work fast enough for flashlights, hopefully not because they're annoying enough as it is, but probably will if they're close. When I first saw it I thought it was garbage, then just before you read it out I realized it was perfect for sabo or body blocking the killer. New tool for swf bully squads. Yay.

  19. There is an efficient counter I've heard True mention before. You can Leave one survivor off the gen, one doing the gen. One gets incapacitated, the other hops back on it. Gen progress is slower that way; but you're still 4x faster than killers regression. Not including Great skill checks, addons, and perks. If you're an SWF you can make call outs as-well. Eruption is the only perk that actually allowed killers to go for chases at all the safe loops survivors want to bring them to. Now that's gone, you don't think there's going to be more camping, tunneling, and slugging? Base Gen speeds, Third Health States, Map Size, and Safe Loops are the Problem here. Killers physically don't have the time to go for chases anymore. Make Survivor Objective Speeds longer and more Mind gameable loops. I understand it's boring to sit at a Gen, but they need to make another objective for survivors if they want to encourage different winnable and consistent, playstyles for killer.
