Hey everyone, today we’re ranking every content release for Dead by Daylight, covering the chapters and paragraphs. I did cover this previously, but that video is almost a year old now, we’ve had a bunch more content added, and much of what I said in that video, I don’t entirely agree with anymore. So, let’s get into it.

“Artist’s power is really dull”.
Man, I mean, opinion is opinion, but did you even try playing as Artist? Carmilla has brought in one of the most complex, efficient and unique powers in the entire game, alongside with the most interesting killer perk so far, pentimento. Maybe Jonah and Eyerie are meh, but Artist is straight up amazing, imo. The things you can do with her, all those crossmaps and out of the blue hits, god it feels good when you learn to do that.
Instantly became one of my top-3 loved characters, a little bit behind Plague and claiming second spot together with Huntress
I find that there are two dbd players, those who love midwich and those who hate it, I love the map but don’t know much about silent hill, like I can get the other licenses because I know enough about them RPD is the police station that one of the resident evil games is in mainly, haddonfield is where the first movie took place, springwood is well part of springwood, the Gideon meat plant, the first game from the movies, I just don’t know enough about silent hill to know how important midwich is to it all
My top 5 worst chapters:
Leatherface. Because it was just him with a extension of hillbilly add-ons.
Binding of kin. Twins are….. the twins.. lmao. And elodie introduced a fun perk but nothing too crazy tbh.
Ash vs evil dead. I love the voicelines and he actually came with cosmetics.
Nightmare on elm Street. Short reveal trailer, Freddy became one of the most hated killers and boring to go against and Quentin came out underwhelming.
Of flesh and mud: I really love Ace. And the introduction of new form of perks of being hexes. But hag became easily boring to go against and swamps were a different vibe but became dull and a dread after a while.
I agree with just about all of it, I think all the chapters were placed really well, I only really disagree with the All Kill chapter since they have brought 0 horror to the game and the theme of the chapter being a bit confusing. Also I think the halloween chapter should be a little higher since they were kind of what gave the game it’s good impression of horror

I know it’s a lot of people’s favorite map but I absolutely hate Dead Dog Saloon. It’s way too small, there are so many dead zones, loops are small and few, and the hook placement is terrible. The only thing it has going for it is the visuals, but that’s all. I don’t understand how people like this map.

Agreed about Bubba!! It’s a snooze fest when 90% of them just face camp. Forces everyone to suffer
I think the RPD map is being reworked and is being released when Resident Evil Project W releases

I think that the worst chapter, apart from some paragraphs, is Resident Evil, primarily for two reasons.
Firstly, Nemesis is a genuine butchering of an iconic character. The RE3 Remake already kind of removed his menace by making him act like a bad movie villain and having Jill/Carlos call him all sorts of things, but seeing him goofily run at you like the cop from Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs ruins it even more. Plus, his power is bland, uninspired and probably requires the least amount of skill out of every Killer in the game while also being tied to terrible AI, which is an awful thing for this game. I don't feel scared or intimidated by him, just annoyed because I know that he's not going to have to put any effort into looping.
Secondly, RPD is a complete mistake. It should not exist in this game. I don't think I need to say more, it just doesn't work in this genre of horror. This game is not made around giant maze-like areas for maps.
Some other problems include:
-The perks overall being kind of fun to use, but pitifully weak.
-Nemesis having garbage addons apart from, like, three.
-The release of this chapter literally broke the game for every non-PC platform.
-Jill and Leon lacking solid outfits. Both of their Very Rare outfits are sets with headpieces that barely change the character. Leon's hair is a bit longer, at least, but Jill's hair is the exact same.
-Sweaters are okay though, I guess, but they also messed these up somehow. They're worn over the default, making Leon look like he's got a huge gut and Jill having an abnormally-shaped torso.
-Chris is alright, and I like that Nemesis' Mori and locker grab does work with Chris and actually have him shout "S.T.A.R.S.", but Claire is honestly really rough-looking. Hopefully they fix her eventually.
-Nemesis' Blighted outfit sucks.
Side note: Portrait of a Murder is my second least favorite chapter, also because of the Killer and the Map. These two things make or break a chapter way more than the Survivor.
The Silent Hill chapter is just so good.
We got a map, a new survivor and killer, we got Legendary skins introduced, they added lore for what happened after the games instead of just “It’s the end/start of story and survivor is taken” which I think is a neat touch.

You made a fair tier list, of course many people could disagree but I guess sometimes it's goes personal to rate each chapter for yourself
I love the Silent Hill chapter so much! Cheryl is my main to this day because she was a queen in SH3 and she's a queen in dbd
I agree with just about all of these placements. On another note, how are you doing? <3 Maybe too personal, but how’s the job search going?
Maybe i will give my 2 cents when you do another one of these XD since i started playing 6 weeks after sadako rising released i barely cant say anything about the chapters. Killers i could rank personally for me but not the overall chapters since i barely know any of the survivor counterparts, i only play 5 survivors. Still very interesting to see someone talking about who probably plays DBD since OG times.
I have never met anyone who liked Hawkins map 👁👄👁
Silent hill was good, but I felt like the game and community was at its peak with resident evil chapter.
