  1. Idk, it seems like there's almost no point to using his power until their injured, and even then it has a negligible slow down and just a mend. I think if they made it so it puts the mend status effect on regardless, even to healthy survivors so that they had to mend or get injured, and then increased the chain slowdown, and maybe made it so they couldn't vault with chains in; that he'd be way more viable. I feel like he could actually be decent if they made his chains feel more impactful, it barely slows(very short timespan), and they can still drop pallets and vault. There's no point in using it if they're healthy, and even when they're injured they can still probably make it to a window or pallet by the time you catch back up.

  2. They need to change how the box works, everyone, including the Killer should see the Aura of the box in a certain range. Survivors always knowing where it is makes it useless, the only play is to deactivate it when it's almost ready and then it's gone.
    The box is too small for Killers to see and never have a real chance at using their own ability making it unfair.
    Everyone seeing it in a range is fair for both sides giving Pinhead more chances to use it while actually making it a hunt for Survivors and not just letting their brains melt by not thinking.

  3. Unless they either give him a speed buff when a hook lands, or make the hooks hold longer, he's gonna get grinded into cenobite dust. His power seems almost useless, and very cost-effective, and the chances of you finding the box are like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Meanwhile, survivors can see the box half a mile away… 😕

  4. The chains definitely need longer slow-down. His ability takes longer to hit and to reload than Huntress and does 0 damage, and the only effect that it has (perks aside) is that it slows them for maybe 2-3 seconds tops. It seems solid for scouting, though, since you can cancel out of it quickly at any time.

  5. The problem with his hook ability is it seems like high risk, low reward.
    The chains should hold them longer and maybe with a longer cooldown or like others have said pinhead should get a speed increase after landing his hook ability.
    Right now it seems unreliable even at mid range.

  6. From what I can tell you want to use the chain at small loops when you can close the gap in a few seconds. BUT, the best time to use it is when they are being pursued by the random chains so if you chain them once, they're so slow they can't outrun the second or third random appearing chain and it's a guaranteed hit. God I can't wait to play him.

  7. DBD devs letting killer powers be held hostage as usual like victor. His chain hunt timer is a whole 90 seconds base kit and the box takes 30-45 seconds to respawn making his special ability kind of a joke. His chain power requires an already unsafe loop to be good and the chains break off on yourself and others easily. I've only had luck with bamboozle + brutal strength to get people after a pallet drop. People just wait for a survivor pick up to solve the box and no point to travel across the map to maybe get a hit on someone over a hook.

  8. You know, they could've made it so you can still move while maneuvering the chain.
    Keyboard or right stick to move the killer, then mouse or left stick or control the chain.
    The chain doesn't feel like it gives you much from hitting it, while you lose a bunch if you miss.

  9. Ye Hellraiser is a pretty shit killer when u go up against anyone moderately good. Especially when ur right click doesnt work and u cant activate his ability when you want LOL
