  1. That's when I sense that the game that just started is going to be awful

    /j

(Edit:) actually, you know what, no /j, because sensing the trial is going to suck based on the first minute is in fact game sense; 100% pattern recognition and intuition

    (2nd edit:)

Cue Sage uploading an 8 minute aesthetic af video about how matches that start badly can be made a positive experience by befriending the killer/survivors 😜

  3. Excellent video. You did great explaining what really is a very vague and intangible subject.

It really is something you can only learn through practice, and with quick thinking. I’d even say each player has their own form of game sense unique to them.

Like for instance, I’ve gotten pretty good at not relying on audio to play. Does it sometimes bite me in the ass? Yeah, but I definitely have gotten good at tracking people in game.

  4. I agree however I'm a goofy goober so sometimes I knowingly forgo my game sense 😅 I love to love and be friendly above all else, that's how I have fun personally, even as killer I don't kill lol the entity loves and hates me I guess xD

  5. I agree, game sense is a big part of the game. I look at it like a game of chess, you want to be one step ahead of your opponent. I'm a survivor main, mostly in solo que. The biggest game sense you can have for your team is the HUD. So many say it doesn't do that much but if you understand the HUD it's extremely helpful. You will know when to go for saves, who's in chase, who is on a gen in the area while you're in chase, if you need to be the one to get off a gen for a pick up/unhook, and so much more. I see so many not paying attention to the HUD and it drives me nuts lol

  6. I was gonna make a joke, but another game sense tip for Twins; involves understanding that aura perks like BBQ and Chili, or Friends til' the End, work a little better on Twins because these are perks that activate in moments where you are always going to be Charlotte, (cause Char momma does the hooking!) But aura perks like Gear Head, or Human Greed(my beloved,) are not so good on Twins because these perks may go off while I'm playing Victor and I would never know! I suppose I could adjust my playstyle to accommodate for these perks, but then it's less likely that I am playing Twins naturally when I do. This is a more subjective line of reasoning, I'm sure, but you can apply this thought process to any killer and even to survivors.

  7. I've been watching you for awhile. Can I just say I think you are one of the best DBD content creators out there. You are everything good about this community. Also I'm not putting you on some pedestal. You are only human after all but you make genuine and well thought out content. You don't perpetuate the us vs them mentality like so many like to do. You don't make salt videos. You make thoughtful pretty unbiased videos. DBD is a game I fell in love with. It is the only multiplayer game I play. I actually don't like competitive multiplayer games. By competitive I specifically you vs another actual human by the way. I watched Otz play it for a year before trying it in 2021. I have over 4,000 hours now and I still love it as much as I ever did. It's a game I love just playing, it's a game I love playing with my girlfriend, it's a game I love playing for her when she wants to watch me play killer while we talk and she crochets, hell it's part of the reason I met my girlfriend. It's a game I will always love playing and a game that will mean even more because it helped me meet my person after 34 years of looking. And you help make it a game with a wonderful community… as long as you stay off reddit and Twitter and keep it in game. 😂 I get way more nice messages than bad playing this game. So thank you for your content. People like you make this game even better than it already is. Also I really hope I can go against your Twins one day. I love playing her and want to go against yours.

  8. An issue i sometimes have is that i will b thinking so far ahead that I'll miss a survivor crouching in a bush right in front of me. For example, a blight game i had b4 the borgo got changed to the greenish blue it is now i was thinking 'ok I'm kicking this gen, then imma head over to shack since that was where they put their boon last so ppl might b healing there, next I'm gonna check the closest gens on my way there and back if i dont find someone to chase in between that time…' meanwhile there was a bloody Bill crouched right next to the gen in a bush i didn't see bc i was to lost in my own plan 😂

  9. 2:21 I take offense to that type chart. I'm a Speed Limiter Cannibal with a gift hatch charm on my hook that isn't a lie. I feel a bit insulted whenever I see another Cannibal player camping a hook or hard tunneling someone. Giving Bubba a bad name.

2:30 Honestly wish more people would pick up on this. I don't respect pallets until one gets dropped on me, because I get so, so, so many free hits on people who think I'll respect that pallet they just ran though and they get one less loop around than they expected. Sometimes they STILL don't drop the thing! So many free downs and it isn't all that fun.

    Thanks for the video.

  10. Id say game sense consists of external knowledge you acquire whilst playing combined with just having good reflexes, good eye-hand coordination and good critical thinking skills. If you lack those you will suck.
