Three god windows in the main building, other side of the map can be one giant connected loop. What’s not to hate

  1. I legit couldn’t tell if they forgot to add breakable walls, or if I just couldn’t fucking see them because holy shit it’s too dark in that damn house.

  2. i get the shack and building but i feel like they need to fix the whole middle of the map. its completely out in the open with little to no tiles with pallets. i remember getting a Z wall in the MIDDLE OF THE MAP! thats not okay

  3. I got that entire map loop as dredge it was bad cause if I left my remnant to anti-loop they stared at me left the loop and just blue balled me

  4. It’s a very deceptive map. It doesn’t seem like it’s very pallet/loop heavy at first glance but the more you play you realize how many loops are scattered throughout.

  5. the god window on second floor does have a breakable wall but you cant see it and not only that but the distance you lose from going though not even plus breaking is just as long as the vault itself

  6. The more I play on this map the more I come to hate it. Both as Killer and as Survivor. Mostly as Survivor because the shit maps for Killers have a higher rate of people not caring about things and just face camping so it's not a fun game on either side for me.

1:18 It really sucks how bad some of the maps are for their matching Killer. It's almost like the devs do it on purpose but I have no faith in their ability to plan that far ahead.

3:27 I drop chase at the school on Badham and give a chase on Garden of Joy a bit of time because a lot of people try and hide in the dark corners instead of running the real loop. If they run the real loop I leave, if they try and hide I tend to get a hit.

Just like new Haddonfield the devs wanted to make a good looking map not a fun to play on map. And just like new Haddonfield this map is not fun to play on.
I really wish the devs cared more about gameplay and their community than they did about making money but here we are.

    Thanks for the video Scott.

  7. First time I played the map on live my mind was blown away, they JUST fixed haddonfield only to make this main building, like I was starting to believe they sort of understood their mistakes, but no. It really seems they prioritize aesthetics first and then somewhat try to arrange it after the main layout has been decided by someone who knows nothing about tile balance.

  8. okay, I'm gonna be honest, I don't like this map as Survivor, as well.
Most of the loops are way too low. I played a game against a Plague and couldn't loop her for shit once she had her power.
Another game with Huntress, it went better, but not by much.

  9. Garden of Joy seems to have a dead zone in an area survivors commonly spawn, then a massive chain loop everywhere else. The pagoda structure is also frustrating to loop, since you can lose distance very easily.
There are also bushes with collision hitboxes at T & L walls in that map, making them heavily survivor sided on top of the main structure.
It seems like the map design team has been swapped out with a team that took no notes from the previous one.
