I just had a thought…..why the fuck is this killer called the skull merchant I haven't seen one skull outside of the trailer this chapter is now more of a joke to me than it was 6 seconds ago and that is one hell of a feat
I just realised the whole strategy of putting down a drone at a loop falls apart if the person is already injured. Literally just M1 killer at that point.
It's hilarious that her power is essentially a non-issue unless she has a very strong 3-gen that can essentially force Survivors to become exposed or trapped if they ever want to do the gen.
Like, at least make it so that if the Survivors don't remove the trap before time runs out (giving her back a drone) then when it eventually falls off, they lose a health state in the process. What's the point of a tracker if the Killer has 3 other people to deal with? Skull Merchant is essentially an M1 Killer with no traversal, immediately forcing her into B tier at best depending on her power. Depending on the map, a tracker won't do much good if the tracked Survivors are so far two gens will pop before you get to them.
Just another weak killer, bhvr can’t make strong killers because survivors will bitch. The knight could be strong with buffs/ rework but that will never happen and this new killer is already looking like a meme. A half ass last second killer since it looks like she was suppose to be predator but licensing fell through, so here is a rushed killer 🤦♂️.
A couple of easy buffs would be to make the active state of the drone last 60secs (think it's 30 rn) and to make it so that survivors cannot deactivate for at least the first 20secs it's activated (think it's like 5secs atm). I wish it was less obvious from the survivor's pov exactly where the drone and it's radius is, similar to how they buffed knight when using his power. A change there could make survivor counter play more challenging and interactive. There also needs to be more of a drawback for survivors disabling the drone, probably in the form of buffing the arm-bug thing, maybe allowing it to give survivors more debuffs. I mean, who cares if the killer can sometimes see you in an inaccurate way? I really don't think that all of these changes are asking too much since she has no chase power. Definitely weaker than knight and sadako rn imo. Does trapper have some competition for worst-performing killer in dbd?

This is definitely one of the worst killers they have designed ever… Can’t even think of a single thing on how to make her better (power wise) and well any other design would have been better then what we got
Just like how the Trickster has Main Event if you keep using his power, I believe all killers should have a steroid power or something similar as a reward for repeated use. For the Skull Merchant, perhaps it switches from stationary to a patrol form that locks on targets for a limited time and cannot be disabled in the duration. Also give her a chance to fly on these things instead of just walking around. It gives these one dimensional killers something to work with that changes the gameplay for a moment during the match.
So this may just be my tin foil hat going off again but the longer scream kinda coincides with a delayed hook response. Notice when the Dwight gets hooked his scream is a half second longer than the actual hook notification. Would this affect Pain Resonance at all? If it does then survivors literally have a bit more time to react now to it. Hand holding continues?
You would have to imagine that they had some kind of predator license that they lost access to. Or they thought they were going to get. They probably just had to salvage something

She gets her drone back when the drone is deactivated, not when the claw trap is removed.
Survivors will say that the devs making survivors scream 1 second longer when being hooked is a buff to killer.
I really like these extended screams, i hope they keep them in the game
