  1. The only people safe from this would be console players I’d imagine, we play by our lonesome and from the flick of a switch we can disconnect ourselves from the PC players. Unless the hackers have an option to join us anyways without us knowing.

  2. I think the whole thing was interesting and gives me thoughts of having customs games to change up the game and the rules.
However, since it’s being sent to public matches, then I’m scared for the game and if there’s no action than theres going to be more chaos.

  3. April fools? – I have to be totally honest I have seen some very bot like killers lately – like they are cheating but also really really bad (tunnel visioning as trapper for 5 Gens).

  4. This is kinda scary, I know some of my teammates acted like bots but now you can't guarantee at all if its a bot or not. Step up bhvr! This is serious and needs to be fixed asap, no fucking around this time. Get it fixed before this destroys dbd more!

  5. I was on a break from DBD because I was done with rift for some time but it looks like I can have a bigger break, F'ing hell where this game is going? Disappointment after disappointment.

  6. I watched another video on this and a couple of full games. The bots are actually pretty trash and it would be an easy and boring escape for more experienced survivors.

However, still really bad for the game.

  7. I mean let's be honest. The person who put all this together is someone who probably played majority killer and got tired of BHVR ignoring the big issues with the game for so long. Now that this is out, it probably can't be stopped and it will probably end DbD as we know it. It was a good ride, but I also can't say I'm surprised.

  8. Bro I played against bot like this yesterday. Was a spirit that won with like 3k points since the game was over so quick. No aura reading perks were shown endgame yet she pinpoint phased every single time on top of survivor and did not miss any swings. Also, I stunned her with god pallet but couldn’t make it to next loop before she caught up to me with no chance to dead hard the swing. She did not miss any swings and chases were 10 seconds at max. She also ate every ds and tunneled everyone out of the game not to mention hovering close to hook. Was very fun and interactive experience, killer did admit endgame that it was an AI bot but I thought he was fucking around with us. Turns out he wasn’t..

  9. This is a situation with severities unlike any other. Bots are DANGEROUS. Not just for game health – but also for player safety.
If these bots can be sold to anyone that wants to use them – that means any scumbag can do what they want.
So now imagine DDoS-ing, but on MASS. That's what these bots are capable of.

A beloved game of mine, Team Fortress 2, has been struggling with a bot crisis for a few years now. It's turned hundreds (probably thousands) of players away from the game.
But at least with that game, it's a multiplayer shooter. You can kick players during a match and ban them from the server – then continue as if nothing has been disrupted.
You can't do that in this game. Not in an asymmetrical game like this. You can't just kick the killer, and wait for a new killer to join.

If BHVR want to fix this bot issue, they can't just enforce stricter anti-cheat anymore.
New systems have to be incorporated so that these occurrences aren't as impacting as they are.
Why? Because look at what these bots can do already. If they've already got this much intelligence, it'll only be a matter of time before they crack the anticheat again. (if it even gets updated kek)
It's about stability, and reassurance for the players.

Bring a new system to the game where if a killer drops out or IS KICKED – the game's progression gets put into standby.
Then killers can opt to join into a game – and the game can pick up right where it left off.

We need to be able to kick players.

And also… Give us a goddamn match timer, jfc. A game doesn't need to play out longer than 15/20 minutes, SO MAKE THAT THE LIMIT.
It would stop bots from keeping the game hostage.

We're really close to DEFCON 1 now

  10. i had a claudette yesterday who was hacking (no perks in the lobby but everything equipped, perfect FL-save while standing behind me etc.). her name was Claudette Morel_01. now i think this was a bot too.

  11. This is honestly so shocking. I don't know what's worse, the fact that these hackers can code bots into the game better than the devs themselves or how malicious the hackers are to try and completely destroy the game, and for what? You have to be a whole different kind of asshole to ruin something thousands of people enjoy. Despite the problems and issues, I've enjoyed this game for 6 years now and it would be really sad to see it get destroyed like this 🙁

  12. Pretty much the only way to pay dbd to have fun is to play customs, you skip the grind and unlock everything perk, item, and add-on related, you avoid SBMMR, and you can avoid the bot pandemic.

you just need to find 4 other people to play with you.

I don't see behavior fixing the game the right way and not putting a bandage it, as they are probably going to prioritize the anniversary event.

I hope i'm wrong but they have a track record for a reason.

  13. yesterday I saw OhTofu going against a bot michael myers with all perks and 100+ killer buffs

and to be honest watching a such powerful bot is uncanny and scary

  14. Just add a captcha 4head
But yeah I play Team Fortress 2 and the bot problem effectively killed that game. TF2 is way bigger than DbD and bots will kill this game too if they're left unchecked.

  15. Good lord man! We have the terminator in this game but it isn't from the movie killer bots will take over I mean, they bot COD and other games I'm surprised this didn't happen sooner.

  16. Shit man, same thing happened a few years ago in Titanfall 2 a group of people managed to fill and crash servers by filling them with bots. Sucks having to see this happen to another game I love.

  17. Does anyone else find this scary? Not the fact that it could kill DBD but the AI with how advanced it is.
I’ve been in a game and the huntress sniped me in the shack from the other side of the map.

  18. But Mr. Gimms……. it's impossible for a bot to play hockey!

All jokes aside I really hope that the parts of BHVR that are prideful/can be even egotistical can push those qualities aside, and deal with this seriously and quickly.

100%, those hackers are working towards making a huge profit off of selling these bots.

Honestly I have sooo many thoughts about this but cannot properly write them down. It's just simply outrageous.
