  1. Just add icons next the survivor portraits to show what they’re doing (maybe even add a text wheel kind of like overwatch that have scripted prompts you can call out over next to your survivor icon). Instead of base kit kindred just highlight the killer after the killer has sat within 16 meters of the hook for like 10 seconds

  2. I don't think kindred base kit OR an activity hud would be enough I hear so much about how swf breaks the game because having good communication makes games a breeze then just give solo que voice comms then solo que before game can discuss builds and strategies and know what's going on during the game and at that moment bhvr could then work on buffing the weaker killers in ways that let's them compete against a team with skills and communication wether that be fixing maps reworking killers or both kindred would be cool but doesn't help the teams who will just simply not save you who might have if you all talked strategy and the hud wouldn't help for anything but end game after you ran the killer for 20 minutes at one Gen and the other guy hid in a locker you can say you were indeed not doing gens but with voice chat before and during game you can avoid alot of mishaps that otherwise wouldve happened and of course it would be mutable or toggleable but if you have the tools and don't use them there isn't an excuse

  3. The best way to buff solo is to add communication wheel just like in Identity V. Problem sovled. I have no idea why it's taking them so long to implement such an elegant solution to this problem.

  4. Add comms. Done. I died every single game yesterday because my team was a mess. Any time I have the Killer tunneling me for 6+ minutes and we have 4 gens left there's a problem with communication. Or half the team is dying on one hook.

They should let all players toggle to spectate their team perspective. Actually that would be a cool perk. Press ability while in a locker to spectate your teammates

  5. solo queue for regular survivors is really hard. solo queue for newer players is hell.
    – base kit kindred is necessary
    – timed base kit kindred
    – limited voice comms OR pinging system is necessary
    – reduced healing speed (for all the ones who love to hide, heal, repeat)
for solo queu it becomes only a 1v1 game. it's not a team party game anymore.

  6. I have a Idea on how to fix solo queue, why dont they make 2 game modes for survivors.
make there 2 modes for the game swf mode aka team mode and Solo random mode…..
on swf mode its harder for survivors
but on solo mode its easier….

idk theres something there l just dont know what

  7. I honestly don't know if it's enough.
Best way to fix soloq is to fix mmr.To match with people with similar hours and experience.
People on soloq sometimes can be competitive for no reason or just straight up assholes.
I just dc'ed cause one person left 3 of us to die on first hook because she wanted the hatch and the killer was like ''okay''.
I read the comments about a voice chat, but that can turn exhausting and toxic.More than it already is.
I think basic information would buff soloq but honestly,I think should ''get punished'' within the game,if noone is goining for the save or not being helpful. But for this to happen ,camping should get nerfed.
    I dunno honestly.
Sometimes people on soloq really make me question if i wanna keep playing that game.

  8. I honestly think that having something as simple as icons in the HUD showing the actions you’re doing. Alternatively, a ping system similar to Apex/VHS or at the bare minimum a communication wheel similar to Overwatch/identity V.

The reason that solo queue sucks isn’t just because of lack of communication, but also lack of kinship. People don’t care about their solo queue teammates or their experience which creates a toxic environment. I’ve had so many games where people just sandbag, leave people on hook, don’t heal in situations that it’s necessary and just waste resources without their other teammates in mind. This causes everyone to look out for themselves and this game is extremely difficult without at least decent teamwork. So if we give solo queue clearer communication so people know “hey I’m in this to win it, let work together”, they might actually care and try rather than give up immediately.

  9. BHVR said they were working on an activity status thing for the HUD but we haven't heard much about it in what? months? I, personally, don't particularly care what the change is to make soloq better, as long as it helps. Activity status? Kindred basekit? whatever. The reason I was generally more in favor of Kindred basekit is because it should theoretically be a very easy change to implement, since the perk already exists. Who knows when we'll actually get the activity status on the HUD…

Except pings. I'm generally against pings. They are annoying, people can spam them, you then have to mute them on some people, and then they are worthless if nobody is actually using them/can't see them. Voice comms have the same issue. I don't want to hear a raging 12 year old that I ultimately have to mute either. Whatever the change is, it needs to be something that just works innately with the gameplay, like Kindred or activity statuses would.

  10. even swfs arent fully aware of the exact location of their teammates while someone is on the hook. they just state whos closer to get the unhook. i think you're missing the fact that if kindred was basekit everyone would see everyone else. and that could lead to a big disadvantege for killers. and we have so many perks in the game that reveal teammate auras that would become useless to run if basekit kindred was implemented. i think a more finetuned version of kindred could be fine tough. maybe only showing the person closest to the hook, or atleast remove the killer aura.
