How Tough Will Adept Leatherface Be? | Dead by Daylight Killer Builds

Going for the adept achievement for leatherface, which might end up being one of the more tough ones to do because of the 1 shot down mechanic. We chase after the adept regardless of how many attempts it takes, as we cycle through all the remaining killers.

  1. funny how a simple bush can stop a chainsaw… I ain't that trouble personnaly… that's strange, maybe shouldcheck your chainsaw,… change the chain, oil it maybe.

  2. ive never understand why killer adepts are harder than surv adepts? like why cant 4 kills just be considered achievement complete?. its ridiculous you have to worry about ending chases too fast or survivors going into struggle and not getting enough hook points.

  3. I'll never understand how survivors just have to escape to get adept but killer you have to double pip with 9 hooks etc etc. especially now with MMR saying 2K is a win and escape is a win.

  4. Ok. Tofu. The answer to your question on the chainsawing. Your bubba, if you slug without hooking while getting loads of chainsaws it’ll balance out. But if you get 12 hits and 12 hooks you won’t get chaser.

  5. Thank you once again for the wonderful content Tofu! If I'm being wholly honest, this is likely the worst time to try and get Adept due to (as you noted) the way survivors are playing in full gen-blasting mode to secure their rewards. You probably could have gotten it the second game by just slugging everyone but the 4th player with Knockout, though. They were obviously a solo queue team and not having a clue where your teammates are downed is very panic-inducing in that situation.

  6. Using chainsaw gets you max chaser per chase but the problem is you get half the number of chases so it ends up being a lot lower than it should be. If you really want to get this and use the chainsaw you have to slug a lot.

  7. The Entity: Okay, Bubba. You can use a chainsaw in my realm. Here is one for you.
Bubba: Okay, but this thing is trash… It should be able to cut down trees but it can't even cut through a little branch of a bush.
The Entity: I am letting you use a chainsaw vs. my survivors. Don't complain.
    Bubba: Yes, sir.

    Haha.

  8. First game trying to get Adept on Bubba I got it, but I lucked out and got The Game. Small map, lot of room for pressure, and the chainsaw chews through pallets. What I did was slug the Hell out of the first two I found and started M1-ing like mad. Land some VERY oppressive chainsaws on a small map and they won't heal because they don't have much time to. Then Franklin's any medkits or flashlights to keep them on the ground, then chainsaw to your heart's content. You only need to win about 21 chases. (Which are defined by health-states, meaning a chainsaw counts as one HS change. Billy suffers so much begins he wins chases before they start sometimes.)

The trick is keeping track of pallets and zoning Survivors intelligently. Make them force an area into a dead zone and try to push them there, which, admittedly, is way harder at high MMR. I hit mid-MMR around the time my Bubba hit 15, so I decided to try Adept and landed it first go on a strong map for him.

But that's the 'fun' of being an INCREDIBLY situational Killer that relies on maps that actually work with them. To date, Adept Exe was my hardest one to get (but I haven't really been trying for long).
