  1. Everyone remember, BBQ, and WGLF is getting "nerfed" because they're about to redo the whole prestige system, 75% of the grind WILL be reduced, with the added event we have going on that'll give us leftover cakes.

  2. In my opinion noed should have a prerequisite in form of hooking all survivors once (something like no way out has) because I feel like the aura reveal isn't all that useful (in the 1st few seconds), or combine the aura reveal with an actual notification so people aren't randomly hit with a bus instead of normal m1 attack after successfully looping the killer for several gens. Just sharing ideas and opinions, if I misread or missed something I'd appreciate pointing it out, have a nice day!

  3. This is a huge patch. I love running pain for both info and regression, but it’s good they’re switching up the meta and trying new things. Hopefully after this patch they will continue looking at the meta and we will continue getting updates like this.

  4. I've always pushed to say Spine Chill is the best perk ever (because of the notification, not vault speed). But now that's gone (in the most important way) I'm sadge.

  5. I can't wait for the new changes however I think they overnerfed Ruin and Spinechill.
And Off the Record is basically the new Decisive Strike but even better I really hope it gets nerfed
80 seconds of endurance is just too much

  6. Honestly, I am not on board with a lot of these changes. Most of these perk reworks and rebalancing absolutely gut the perks to the point of being completely useless. Something that the game already has in great amounts despite these changes.

  7. Overcharge and Dragon's Grip is gonna be so fun. I wonder if the Call of Brine effect will stack with the Overcharge effect as well. Maybe making the time it takes to regress be shorter since it would start at 200%. Either way Overcharge is insanely strong now. As for the survivor changes that Off the Record buff is massive. That will 100% be meta at the highest level. The dead hard change is a bit more up in the air for me. I think it will depend on how clear the indicator for it being used is but hopefully it makes people more likely to run other exhaustion perks now. And the biggest one to me will be the Hope change. I'm so hyped to have hope not have a time limit. It's gonna be so strong. Especially versus 110 killers but with the bloodlust changes it might be a bit harder to abuse. Overall I'm very excited and looking forward to try all of these changes it out and experience the future of DBD

  8. I like half of the iron will nerf. I agree it shouldn’t work while exhausted, but I think it would be a balanced perk if it kept the no grunts buff, since that made it good.

Also the pop goes nerf is way too harsh. I’d nerf it to either 20% of total progression or 35% of the gen’s current progress.

I think the ruin change is fine, I think it’s still going to be a good perk, but it won’t carry regression anymore and ruin undying likely won’t be worth over ruin + pain res (passively regressing gens is super strong, and it basically saves the kick action while it’s active which, I think is a good perk in it of itself)

  9. and again BHVR´s punching ball (selfcare) gets hit again KEKW they realy realy hate that perk with a passion."selfcare too strong, lets buff botany, give people millions of medkits (new bloodweb/prestige system) and let them heal in 8 seconds mid chase" such a dumb change….why nerf selfcare just to give people the best reason to run CoH and/or medkits every match…..

  10. The Change to Noed is 1 of 2 things I wanted for the Perk! Makes it similar to plaything. However, There's still a Problem if the Killer decides to Hook the Survivor next to it, & Defends/camps both the Hooked survivor and the Totem. Which is why my 2nd change would of been to Prevent the killer from seeing the aura of the Totem.

  11. I play the game since 2016 and I saw so many perk nerfs, but this is absolutely crazy. I am not sure whether I want to play the game after these changes. In my opinion they nerfed survivors way more than the killer, so the average survivor will have less chances to actually escape the game.

  12. First ten seconds with overcharge is ~5 seconds of lost progress (-2.5 charges instant, ten seconds at .25 charges per second), second ten seconds is ~5 seconds (ten seconds at .5 charges per second), third ten seconds is ~7.5 seconds, and from then on is 1 to 1.

By the time a gen reaches 1 to 1 regression, it will have lost about 17.5 seconds. Unless of course you gave it a kick start with call of being to make it regress at 200 to 500% normal regression.

If they stack like I think, new full meta build for killer is overcharge and call of brine, then pick two (order indicates what I think would generally be best): thanatophobia (slow down their speed, make regression even better, maybe keep of gens), brutal strength (you're kicking tons), deadlock (in the unlikely* event they do a gen, you get to make sure they don't do another), eruption (if you down before a gen you kicked pops, minimum +10 seconds to get over there and kick again), pop (still pretty great when a gen is near popping), surge (jolt) (+8 seconds when you down someone near a gen), tinkerer (sneak up, kick the gen before its super necessary)

  13. The Iron Will, Self-care, and Spine Chill nerfs are crippling. How do they make overcharge so chonky and strong, but then make three mid-tier perks weaker

  14. Thank you for the video! ~10 minutes is the perfect length for a summary of these changes I think. People can watch it quickly before work/school or during breaks and still get all the necessary info. Hope buff is great. More zooming potential. The change to NOLB to make it proc once exit gates are powered was long overdue as well. Finally a better chance to do super-speed yoinks with Desperate Measures + NOLB. Try to grab that, Killers. Speeding up basic Killer actions that mostly weaker Killers benefit from is such a good and healthy change.

Speaking of healthy though, not sure about them hard nerfing Perks like Pop that reward getting shit done, which required you to get a down and hook, leave the hook to go kick a gen, and to not camp if you want to get more use out of it… while slowdown Perks with easier requirements like Thana and Overcharge get buffed. The "total –> current progress" nerf feels a bit unnecessary. I can't believe I'm saying this as someone who constantly makes fun of cooldowns, but why not add a short CD to prevent strong, high-mobility Killers from getting 10 Pops a minute. It wouldn't affect Killers who don't get downs as fast. Idk I'm just spitballing.

Not sure why already-popular Perks like Lethal, Thana and Botany got touched in the first place. Lethal's new effect could've easily been a new, separate Perk. Botany's healing buff could've gone to Empathic Connection and/or DM. Thana could've been deleted. Ah well, the fact that more changes like this might come is good. There are still many Perks that need love (and items that warrant some hate).

  15. Why the fuck would they nerf Dark Sense… I love most of the changes but I can't wrap my head around it. I have never seen anyone other than myself running it. Why would they nerf it?

  16. Scourge Hook: Gift of Pain with 5.5% Tana is amazing. Survivors have 2 choices: heal slower and take 16% slowdown from SH or take 22% Tana on their faces. For me meta build will be – Tana, GOP, PR and Corrupt/Deadlock/DMS. Corrupt for someone like Trapper or Myers, deadlock for slow killer like Huntress or Deathslinger, DMS for Artist or Cenobite etc.

  17. They didn't adress slowdown meta nearly enough in my opinion. I don't see killer suddenly stopping and not running 4 slowdown, especially with BBQ not giving bp anymore.

  18. I love both that they actually changed so much about the game as well as the majority of the changes (with some of them being questionable) but I think the new prestige system is awful. The infinite prestige thing is cool, but those of us who kept characters at 50 for ages lose out on so much, getting perks from the Shrine of Secrets seems like its a joke as you can only get them one level at a time, so you need to get the same perk 3 times, and unless it just lets you repurchase from the same shrine and have the cost cut to 1/3, it basically means you buy the dlc or getting perks from the shrine is pointless or extortion. I've also heard some hearsay that it goes up to lvl 100 now and it will take up to 4x as long to unlock new content as you have to hit p3 to get the perks at their full value, both parts of which I really hope are not true. If they leave the Shrine of Secrets as is and give you prestige based on the number of bp spent on each character, then I have absolutely 0 complaints, but if not prestige is going to be another MMR type situation of 'sounds great but wildly unpopular in practice' situation.

  19. This is not a META shift, it's a perk shift. The nerfed gen perks are getting replaced with the newly buffed ones, while gen speed has been increased from 80s to 90s. Idk, kinda sounds like gen regression is getting stronger, not weaker. Also sounds like solo queue will be alot more aids.

  20. The most illogical nerf is the spine chill. Its literally in the name SPINE CHILL. Whats the point of this perk now. If a killer sees you – you definitely see him and don't need any perks to help you out. Oh no, killers have to do something to outgame a perk, lets nerf it smh

  21. I'm not really happy with the update. It kinda seems like the update favours killer mains. The iron will nerf was such a bummer for me and self care as a perk just isn't even worth ever having as a perk after update. Decisive was already nerfed and now they've nerfed it so that you can't use it in end game which means door campers will win. It's just overall depressing for me and confuses the hell out of me with stupid perks like lightweight and overcharge being new meta perks. I have so many issues with these perk changes like another is dead hard; Endurance is useless against a chainsaw bubba.

  22. But don't you think that Iron Will is still viable on Ace (or Tapp)? Ace is still the quietest survivor. Iron Will tier 2 on Ace feels almost like tier 3. Overall, it might mark the return of Stridor Spirit I think.
