Ong this might stop the 3 other hag mains from getting harrased by a yellow flashlight
I hope it takes longer to disarm than it does to place without addons…
I think this change to flashlights is fair to compensate for the recent flashlight save timing buff.
This will make unhooking against hags even more annoying. That being said, killers like Bubba and Artist are way better at defending the hook and pressuring the map while camping, respectively, so Hag still shouldn’t be the strongest camper.
I think I’m the same as you where I’m not sure if it is a buff or a nerf. Not putting on franklins every match will be nice but I guess we’ll have to wait till the ptb.
I can see some hag user returning into the game. But more legion mains gonna run forever build🙄
i would say it's a slight buff for hag since you can no longer disable traps mid chase for instance and you have to spend time disarming them, they havent specify how long tho but knopwing bhvre its probably a lot more than it took with the torch
I really like your videos, please keep going like this. You are awesome. Greets from a Hag main.
Goose you da goat!Keep doiing ya thang!
If i had to say id say its a buff…flashlights seriously hard countered hag by a crap ton i know sometimes you get lucky and only 1 or 2 max people have flash lights but sometimes you gota full squad running with them making you a slow m1 killer for the rest of the game. If you didnt have franklins you were seriously rolling the dice
obviously in some matchs you got people with 0 flashlights so you had nothing to worry about and this update changes that now everyone base kit can get rid of your traps. However i think this might be better depending on how long it takes to remove your traps. Like trapper for example it can take a bit of time to get rid of a trap and if you are doing that against hag who takes absolutely no time setting up traps that she does not even need to pick up. I think its worth it but we will have to wait and see obviously. If its only like a 2 seconds duration to remove then it might just flat out suck for hag. But they do need to probably crouch over it to remove it while flash lights could remove it from a distance so either way they are wasting time crouching to it and to remove it
I have a strong suspicion that sloppy is getting nerfed. 25% slower healing on top of the increase in base healing would bring is over 30 seconds, naaaa BHVR ain’t gonna let us have it that good.
I’m surprised that there hasn’t been a four-man Swift using auto didact. I get it that it has some setbacks for the two tokens at first, but there’s always constantly healing with 4 man set.
sadako, oni hag and twins are eating good
Makes no sense to have Circling of heal anymore since a med-kit is required.
Honestly? It sounds like she's getting massively buffed. Not having to deal with flashlights and use franklin's by default, not having to care about DH (pretty much the only exhaustion that can hurt her), not having CoH and having longer heals? We'll be back to the days that Hag didn't care about the survivor meta and only the few very experienced teams could beat her. Like, who cares if they're gonna crouch on top of a trap and erase it? That's gonna take time and it's infinitely better than instantly burning it with a flashie. Makes camping easier, makes chases safer, trapped loops are a guaranteed hit. Anyways, let's wait for the PTB and have it checked shall we
I think it's a nerf. Flashlights weren't really necessary to counter hag traps, if someone found you early they would simply just run through your trap.
Good survivors can position themselves to where they still had distance on you when you teleported unless you instant scroll wheel teleported to a pallet or window trap that was spaced perfectly. Survivors also figured out how to get around the camera swing by looking backwards. What little risk there was in popping a trap purposefully is now completely gone.
Sure, you can try and be sneaky but at the end of the day you're always going to want to trap the strongest loops. They're going to know where to look.
The Granny!!! lmao
For me overall the changes are a buff. Not having to run franklin's pretty much basekit is really good.
Hag main here. IMHO this is a nerf for us and a reduction in gameplay fun for all. Trapping a hooked survivor meant you didn't have to camp. Most rescuers crouch when heading to unhook survivors and they trigger the trap on exit. The Hag's slow speed meant we had a fairly even chase. Now we'll know that rescuers will be crouching and disarming, so this will encourage camping.
I always use Franklin's for the same reason, so taking in a different perk will be nice. I can't see anyone using Franklin's at all now.
Plague will be really good
I'm optimistic about it. Even if these changes make her too weak at defending 3gens and hooks, it could lead to a future chase buff that could make her more enjoyable for both killer players and survivors. At least disarming traps mid-chase is no longer a thing.
Thantophobia sloppy couprophobia going make new survivors delete the game
I'm hoping it's like Demogorgons portals rather than trappers traps because I want to have more interaction with people I go against
I would say it is a nerf bc it is harder to get rid of them, (after)you have to interact with it.( Before with franklins) you have to crouch or activate it. So that means before it was a bunch of slowdown. After, you have to interact with it completely getting rid of it considering 4 SURVIVORS disabling you traps sooooo….
Unpopular opinion but I feel like next patch might be a shadow nerf to Plague if survivors choose the meta of staying injured with perks such as Resilience and other gen rush perks. I know this already happens to Plague but not to the extent it could be.
Or survivors will all bring Autodidact and it’ll be free wins.
