  1. I always thought BHVR is leaking their own stuff and I’ve commented it before in leak videos. That Stranger Things video would be very hard to do (without getting caught and fired) without permission from BHVR.

How is someone, even working from home, getting a dev build of the game and getting two other people with access to the same build to do that leak?

  2. I'm a big android nerd and Linux nerd. Google, Samsung, LG (when they made phones), HTC (when they made phones, Motorola and even apple can't control leaks. I already know the specs of Google's newest pixel phone, what the phone cases will look like on it, Samsung's newest flagship phone and the newest iPhone looks like consistently months before they're launched. It's always, or almost always an inside source, but I'm sure the companies don't want that info out. I don't think DBD wants this out, but has a mole that they will eventually catch. I used to run an android website and had info sent to me constantly and would know instantly if the source was legit. These leaks are legit for dbd, but like I said I'm sure DBD is scrambling to figure out the mole

  3. I think leaks did happen at first, and BHVR may not like it, but as time passes, BHVR discover that leaks are better than early reveals and decided to turn a blind eye to it

  4. another thing with the ring chapter is the killer just was kinda meh…her passive sucks, the teleportation is OK (dredge stole the gimmick from her tho) and that's all she kinda has……meanwhile:

RE is a game thing and since the first RE DLC was good the 2nd one looks and likely will be good as well, plus RE might be more popular/well known than ringu…so there's that as well as far as the hype difference…i, for example, knew of ring and was like 'oh cool' but i didnt care too much….RE i know a bit of as well, and have played a bit but didnt care too much about the series, however i really like playing nemmy so im excited to see how wesker might do the infection mechanic different, it looks like a weird hybrid between demo's lunge and nemmy's infection…

  5. I don’t think BHVR is leaking their own stuff because they aren’t the only company that just can’t seem to stop it. If you look at Apex Legends, they just had a recent leak that literally tells the entire next year of releases and I know they for sure didn’t mean for that to happen. It could just be coincidental but it seems leakers have just gotten better at getting in

  6. I wouldn’t be surprised, Rainbow 6 siege does the same thing IM PRETTY SURE. Constantly leaked and people always suspect Ubisoft, just like you and other suspect behaviour. I don’t doubt they’re did it tbh

  7. The leaks were obscure but now its getting a bit too much to where BHVR has to know or has to be working with the leakers. I've just blocked all the leak accounts because I want to TRY to be surprised going forward

  8. I'm very sure that there is someone in BHVR that is going behind the company's back and leaking this stuff without the company knowing that they're doing it, possibly more than one. The fact that these leaks are consistent and have a lot of depth leads me to believe that accounts like DBDLeaks are BHVR employees

  9. I really don't understand how leaks increase the hype, especially with that leak that leaked like the whole next year. Isn't it just shifting the hype from "BHVR officially revealing their content" to "whenever the leak drops"? I mean, once they officially announce the content we already know what it does and so we're just like "ok sure guys, now release it, we already know that stuff".

That being said I absolutely believe they are leaking their stuff on purpose. Why else would they follow a leak site and not crack down on the leaking?

  10. I actually think leaking may help the developers notice whether some content is gonna be good or not. They have feedback on every detail from everybody knowing what is going to be on next chapter so they can actually choose whether or not it needs to be changed or polished detail in order to be decent. If it is real this is an incredibly good strategy.

Just imagine the potencial, getting a little bit conspiracy but i actually think they might leak stranger things leaks early so they can notice whether or not to relaunch the chapter, casually result to be fake but the developers could analyze the impact of the notice and finally decide to continue their license. That's crazy, sorry the first part has more sense.
