  1. As a hearing impaired person Spine Chill was my go to perk. New heartbeat and other changes can't compare to what it did for us. Sad to see how narrow sighted and in fact bigoted BHVR is, all while they don the flag of social virtue.

  2. The thing is, i myself run spinechill unironicly, i used it back when i started playing around the time sadako was added, stopped plying when the knight released, and started playing again during the alien chapter, and i ran spinechill the whole time. It's the perfect perk to ensure i don't get caught off guard, and it's actually helped a couple of times. The bonus action speed doesn't really do much because when it goes off, you usually should get going anyway. So spinechill IS still useful. It just doubled down on the "anti suprise" function.

  3. It’s nice to see someone else who really appreciates old dbd. It seems like not even the devs care about the old game, which makes some sense since I think Mathieu and a couple others are the only remaining devs from those days

  4. Yes, it's completely worthless now.
The killer needs to have DIRECT line of sight with you and be within 36 metres for such a mediocre effect.
The problem is that I remember using it after the first nerf, and the perk would at least light up if the killer was within its range, but now it doesn't even do that…

  5. not sad when it needed a nerf it was to OP and vaulting survivors already gen FREE vault speed with no skill required a killer needs 3 perks just to match survivor vault speed thats the balance of this trash game. 3 perks just to match survivor vault speed game is broken add chase hud info u know killer location at all times game is just dumb these days.

  6. I remember always hard-locking spine chill on launch with premonition to always know when a killer was on their way while working on gens. I remember getting back into the game this year and wondering why it felt so useless before seeing that BHVR tied it to line of sight. Sad to see it get reduced to this state

  7. A few patches ago I actually used this perk. I hate stealth killers/going against them specifically ghost face. So the perk lighting up when a killer was in the 32 meter radius meant I atleast knew if they were nearby. The perk no longer does that now and a killer has to be looking directly at you in a 32m radius for any warning of any kind to show. Meaning it is only useful in an outdoor map and even then there are many other perks that are alot more viable and useful
