  1. Players who get reported very often for cheating should only/more often be quequed with Players who potentially cheat. So cheaters will be among themselves and learn how unfun it is to play with cheaters.

  2. I literally haven’t faced a blatant cheater in iri ranks for 1000s of hours since I play in aus so this wont affect me at all. That being said, I do think it will be interesting to see if hackers develop software that can mass report every player in a lobby enough that they can streamsnipe non-fog whisperers and get them priority queued into more hackers

  3. i could just have my friends mass report me and not get banned and then i just wouldnt have to go against these people which would make the game even easier for me lol

  4. This seems like a way to just reduce publicity of cheaters and to get people to stop pressuring them to get an actual anticheat. If streamers aren't getting cheaters because they're on the whitelist, the ordinary players that encounter them will just be written off as sore losers by the community unless it's inarguably obvious, which most cheaters aren't. It's just going to lead to people downplaying the issue again and create another massive surge a few months from now when they find a way around it. It also does almost nothing to actually stop people who want to stream snipe specific creators, because they'll just get new accounts that aren't on the priority list because BHVR is so inconceivably insistent on constantly making the game free on the Epic store so there are endless accounts made for the cheaters

  5. If this is true, the hopefully people who abandon/dc during matches don't get put in this pool.
They paid for this game, they're allowed to DC if they want to the same was killers are allowed to face camp, 4 man slug, tunnel, etc.
The only real issue is the reporting. Too many people get a suspicion about exploiting when survivors play really well and they just report them for cheating and vise versa.

  6. Don't really see how this helps. We know that hackers just get new accounts – so wouldn't those account just have no reports – completely bypassing this system.
In order to get tons of reports, that account would have to play tons of times. Which is usually when that account would get banned anyway.
It just seems like something that could be weaponised by scummy players. And seems like BHVR want to implement an automated system, to do the work for THEM, which just seems lazy.

  7. 4:23 this remind me of the path of exile league where they put streamer on priority que and everyone was piss and 1 of the big guys said the same thing. "life is not fair, it what happen when you put in the work for a game and stream to a lot of people".

  8. Wouldnt a low prio queue just kill the game? I mean if such a system were implemented widescale.
Like 1/4 the playerbase is going to go into a pool of systemic dcers making their matches horrible 100% of the time. Eventually the systems going to weed them out and a bit more % is going to have horrible queues.

  9. This in itself isn't inherently bad, but you have to understand that people have reason to doubt BHVR will actually implement this for the larger player base.

  10. I am happy with this, now I can watch streamers play the game and have fun instead of being held hostage regularly and still not encounter any cheaters myself.
My first and only cheater I encountered (probably) wasn't even cheating till the end game.

  11. Cant cheaters anyways bypass this and force them with program theyre using into "normal" queue? Like as you said people report others for dumb shit without a reason. I wouldnt be suprised if in this so called Low Prio Q would be everyone BUT cheaters xD

  12. A good low priority system that checks for what you do when you get reports then is a good idea but if its only basing on reports will be abused like wow tried this and was verry easy for people to mass report 1 or more players. So do game checks and its 100% good 👍 no games check and its gonna be a failure. Besides having game checks should be a must to combat cheating things like track attacks cooldown, movement speed, palet/gen/breakable door speed, gen/intractable speed should all be server checked for inconsistent behavior and instantly ban people's that have values out of the ordinary also perks should be id taged and if 1 person is using 5 or more perks effect should be instantly noticeable on server. Doing server checks will prevent most cheating look at other online games like dota, league or wow etc they track most actions and imidiatly take acction if something seems imposible. Same can be aplied here a simple tracking x,y,z can prevent flying

  13. So when all the gens are done and I hook my first guy near both exit gates and the 4 man SWF reports me for camping, I'll get into low priority queue with hackers and racists.

Fuck yes, bring it on. DBD is the perfect video game.

  14. MISrepresenting the game is not representing the game, Scott. It's not a positive for people to think the game is one thing, come play, spend money, etc… then, hey, look at all the cheaters. That's weird, I never saw any on stream, right?

Come on. That's basically false advertising. And, again, all the cloak & dagger from BHVR is very telling…

  15. Let's say you do play scummy. What now?
Example: You have a horrible week, and for some reason you let your anger out by playing scummy in DbD (Camping, tunneling, bleeding the last person out, etc), you get reported, you go into that low priority queue… what now? How does someone get out of it? The week ends, he wants to play normal again but can't bc he's in that low priority queue, what system could dectect that he's now playing normal? Not getting reported as often as before?

  16. Honestly, I quit playing DBD about 3-4 months ago after playing since 2016. I still watch my favorite DBD content creators, but that's it. I don't want to actively partake in the dumpster fire that DBD has become for quite some time now.

If BHVR gets their shit together (someday) I might give it another go, but as things currently are, I highly recommend this approach of stepping away from the game for a while to anyone who feels the same about this whole situation.

    Cheers everyone.

  17. I report for camping and tunneling when its an egregious example. Why? Because they have a report option for 'unsportsmanlike behavior'. If I shouldn't be reporting for that, remove that option.
