  1. I personally enjoy it more, both killer and survivor, haven't played dbd in years, and this made me enjoy the game again, like I dont feel stressed while playing as killer, and as survivor, it puts my knowledge of the map to test.

  2. I was watching this and thought before you mentioned it… he really isn’t kidding about having deadzone hooks near exit gates. I’ve seen this in the last four or so matches for you. Originally I think the premise for the hook not being reused is that it breaks from the death of the survivor to have a deadzone for survivors to kinda work with to their advantage like a sort of area where they could go to and heal or something like that but when the survivors get less and less and they can abuse it at that and in endgame it just makes for foolishness. An idea I have but haven’t shared yet is maybe in endgame all hooks come back active or they maintain being active but simply have a respawn like when sabotaging takes place but after the survivor dies on hook. If you compile enough of this and share it with devs I’m sure they will think on it. If you don’t want to talk with them on it I can use my channels to try and see about it being fixed because it’s kinda an oversight I feel. Something that was part of older dbd that just hasn’t updated I guess is the word for it. But I’m also sure if you’ve thought of this other players like otz, onepumpwillie, negoose just to name a few probably have experienced this also. If more people get to see or experience it we can have it fixed or maybe not so much fixed but updated. With the idea they recently implemented with hook skins they could in theory use an update for hook skins as a means of reusing hooks and at best maybe making a gimmick perk for hook reuse. Who knows. The devs have their own processes that much is for sure.

  3. I like this mode, I just don’t understand why they got rid of ALL of the UI. Like I understand not having gen/heal progression showing up, but kicking a gen, charging a killer power, and other quality of life stuff? It just doesn’t make sense.

  4. Take away the darkness aspect and you have a gamemode that strips everything down to its core. No perks, no add ons,. Your ability to play vs the survivors ability to play. Gens will obviously still fly but chases should be in theory shorter due to no second chances outside of base borrowed. Give me this instead of what we have now.

  5. I love it, without perks it feels great to have an alternative mode that’s abit more casual. Just hope people stop crying to behaviour to balance it out and make it more competitive when it’s not intended to be that way

  6. I doubt they'll ever enable this mode again after this one. Survivors are alrdy crying their eyeballs out how "unfair" it is. And yet some of my most fun matches in the last years were in this mode as killer. For exampleI had such a blast picking Oni for shits and giggles to rush survivors out of the dark. Jumpscaring the hell out of them…

  7. Lights out is way better and more fun because nobody has broken perks and the vision is limited but still it favors survivors because they can have toolboxes and stuff and you can't have addon. so it's on the favor of surv but still better than the normal mode
