  1. In the latest hotix patch, you can alter some extra stuff again in engine.ini

If you want to completely remove thr AA in the game add this into you engine ini too

  2. Finally a tutorial that actually helped me, I have been experiencing stutters even though I have a high end pc, I think the settings that helped the most, was the true fullscreen and removing AA

  4. i played this game on 3 different pc setups. there are always microstutters during gameplay and there is nothing you can do about it. with a good pc they are hard to notice and a lot of people would say they don´t have them but there are always there because this game is badly optimised.

  6. Is it normal for a rtx 3080 16 g ram laptop to get like 100 fps (capped at 120) on some maps while on the lowest texture quality and high performance?

  7. I recently got the game and am trying to adjust the mouse sense scale down. It is WAY too high at 0%. Does anyone know where this can be adjusted/how to.

  8. Hello. When in match as killer or survivor, almost always get a freeze or stagger for a split second, where my character get stuck in the same place and all other players still moving. It's really annoying , specially in important moments.
Maybe there is someway to fix this? i have tried lots of things. The problem still there.
    thx u

  10. after unlocking fps to 120 i'm getting random stuttering, that is making my life miserable when i am in a chase or loop, as killer or surv. Anyone got the same issue? on 60 thi does not happen.

  11. its really stupid how post processing on 0 gives you a huge advantage against the Dredge . The Darkness is too dark in normal post processing in my opinion cuz i cant see shit which makes me wanna play it on 0 but the game in general looks better on 1.

  12. Thank you so much! I recently got a new graphics driver which made my settings on dbd go from low to ultra,
but the settings I had made everything kind of pixely and see through. Thanks to you my game looks much better and smoother, and skill checks are a lot easier!

  13. the 1,2,4 thing might be that they're storing the data in bits. Numbers in computers are stored in memory as sections of 1 and 0. Each one of those singular values are called bits and a set of eight bits make up a byte (which is the smallest segment possible because of memory architecture). A byte looks something like: [00000000] where the value of every position is 2^npos (2 to the power of the position). This makes for a pattern of [128, 64, 32, 16, 8, 4, 2, 1]. This can be compared to how we normally count with powers of ten […, 1000, 100, 10, 1]. Usually, in order to read the value, you multiply the 1/0 on the position with the value for the position and then add the results together. However, you can also check if the bit is set (1) or not (0). Sometimes it's used for different settings. In this case [00000000] would be low, [00000001] medium, [00000010] high and [00000100] ultra. 3 would look like [00000011].

Usually this is used when working with multiple "toggle" settings. Eg. the first bit being mouse accel on/off, the second being fullscreen on/off etc. That way it's easier to program "if bit x is set, enable this" than "if the value is 15, enable all of these 4 things" and do that for every possible combination of bits (every value between 0 and 255).
