The answer is, well we dont know. Rainbow ranks exist in the PTB. Teams could have two rank 2’s, a rank 10 and a rank 16. Not a great test for how strong a killer is.

They buffed all the wrong things here. His normal knives were perfectly fine, it was his main event that needed changing. Hopefully they roll back some of these changes and then buff main event some more.

I think he's too OP. You can down survivors waaay too fast now, even if you loop around stuff.

I really want to play trickster but I think I actually have to wait until they fix the console lag. It's too frustrating starting main event, freezing for 3 seconds, and then your throwing knives at a wall. what does the 242/250 on your border mean? I don’t even blame those survivors for DCing. I am over this Hold W meta with basically half the killer roster now. Trickster wasn’t fun to play against before, but now he’s just even more annoying.
Maybe everyone on the map should get like a sound cue when he gets main event, so you can decide whether or not you should try hiding for a bit

My boy Trickster looking a little powerful. This is the buff we needed but the thing that bothers me is that while they buffed him up they made his gimmicks even worse.

TBH, with his insanely large lullaby, I think aware survivors will have no problem with getting to a safe loop before he gets to them. Remember its also the PTB, most survivors are rainbow ranks, connection to the servers seems off, and most meme/don't play to their full potential. For example, I was playing against JRM yesterday on the PTB, and despite me being a good Trickster and having over 3k hours in the game, he was half way across the map as I was approaching (hence the aware survivors) The counter play to Trickster if these changes go through, is listening for his lullaby and getting to the safest possible loop.

I think Trickster is a little overtuned but also that people aren't respecting his new lethality. Players need to respect new Trickster like Leatherface and then judge his strength.
Man, so far, with the PTB, they aced it. Can nitpick, but overall, the work shows.
