  1. I like running shadowdance with swift hunt and with the recent meta and nowhere to hide wraith just feels so smooth to play. I no downtime kicking a gen and can immediately see anyone around.

  2. I'm thinking people often underestimate a wraith. People know Wesker is good, so they treat him as a threat right away. But if they underestimate a wraith for even ten extra seconds at the start, that early game bonus helps a ton

  3. Wraith's combination of being undetectable and fast at the same time is pretty great to counter bigger maps. He also has decent addons all the way and his power never fails in any way like a slippery blight rush that denies the hit or a leaf that stops a hatchet early. The simplicity of his power allows you to fully focus on the gameplay and if you wanna be injured against him it's always a gamble, especially in soloq. Also bing bong.

  4. I think Wraith (stealth killers) got an indirect buff when Spine Chill got changed also. I think stealth is underestimated and would also explain Sadako’s high kill rate.

  5. I run a complete meme build on wraith. His meme perk, distressing, thrill, agitation, forget the fourth, some other perk that mainly gives blood points fast or mad grit. And I still win most of my games with him. He’s not powerful, but he wins, idk how to describe it

  6. Something else I noticed watching you play is that when you abandon chases (which you do liberally and your awareness is such that you realise you should very early into a chase), Wraith is punished much less for it. Your time efficiency is a lot better than most other W killers. Although open maps like Rotten Fields cause you to lose the element of surprise, it's mitigated by the fact that you can beeline between objectives much quicker too.

  7. Hey Scott, I would love if you could talk about a Plague slug build.

Today I played a few matches where I slugged as plague and even on top MMR, I was destroying teams.

(No hooking really until everyone’s bleeding out)

  8. I think the Skill Ceiling is a big factor too. There's simply not much to learn with wraith and that makes him way more consistent and his M1 reliant gameplay makes him also more consistent.

Checks out with higher streaks. Higher consistency = higher winrate overall. In conclusion, nerf Pig.
