The Knight, despite being hated, has been one of my favorite killers in recent memory. And for the past few weeks, Ive been playing him as if he is already nerfed and STILL loving him. So today, we take our nerfed knight and play against some pretty fun and talented SWF players!

About Me!

My name is Dyllon! I have played Dead By Daylight for about 3 years now strictly on my Twitch page. After being asked time and time again about how to get into the game, I decided to try my hand at making guides to help players.

  1. Definitely love the showcase of using Knight's power to chase multiple people simultaneously. It's a good show of pressure imo, and a very good way to use his power rather than just plopping down a guard and forcing someone out a loop.

  2. I hope to see more knight players play like this rather than the plop down at small loops, camp three gens, etc. it’s actually fearful now that a guard or the knight himself can just appear and pinch you off in tight spaces. I feel like it allows for more engaging gameplay both sides and allows for survivors to be on their guard (no puns intended) at all times!

  3. I remember these two matches and I hope people take note of what the Knight is capable of with either only one add-on (in the first game's case) or none (second game). First game was really good, but that second one was potentially trepidatious. The Claud was so good and the first Head-On play was a real threat. I think the thing that threw it for them was the Thalita (I think it was) going for the second Head-On while the other person was on the hook. They could've gotten the unhook and potentially turned that game into a 2-3k depending. I especially hope that match is viewed by Killers and Survivors alike because of how Claud moved. Seeing how she played around tiles (especially one which is regarded as the worst tile ever) and managed to keep you busy in chase was phenomenal.

  4. The point has never been that is not playable or viable. It is less accessible to new players and new knight.
Saying "He can still work even if we remove the simple gameplay, so now that "I" learned him and I do not need anymore him to be accessible i think this modification is good.".

It is like Arinad saying "In my opinion the purple bottle should work only when the yellow bottle is active on the clown. I know it is possible to play like this and i am the best clown main in the world then i think it should be done!"

  5. This is the gameplay I was searching, thanks to have showed that this killer can be played in other ways 😁😁
The knight can do great or less, depending on the playstyle you choose. I personally think "dropping a guard in front of a loop" like most says, is what makes the Knight countered by holding W bc you make yourself predictable in front of the survivors and it's not an optimal strat. That why the latest buffs allows to play him for an extent.

  6. The Knight is my favorite killer apart from Nemesis and Wraith and I'm glad there are people out there that also enjoy playing him while not holding 3 gens and camping. He's pretty mechanically interesting overall and I think a lot of folks just underestimate him.

  7. Love this video.
This just shows tha Knight can win without boring and optimal strategies.
Making 2 chases at once or make "oreo" with guards is just so fun.
Also quick question to knight players:
Is only I addicted to call to arms.

  8. I think most people don't know how to play the knight.

Most knight players don't seem to be able to predict my movement as survivor when they have to draw a trail. I almost feel relieved when i see them try, because it is so rare i see them actually be right. 9/10 they sended their guard to the closest loop while i W keyed away to the other side of the map. They all seem to be very close minded and don't try to predict my movement or hear me. Maybe good spirit players would be good at Knight, but they probably still need to learn other skills.

  9. I'm definitely going to have to try playing Knight at some point. Right now, I'm doing a 30 days of Executioner personal challenge to learn to play Executioner (randomly selected) and I've used quite a bit of your Executioner knowledge as my foundation. It's going pretty well 😀

  10. I still don't see how knight is strong. He fails miserably in applying pressure in larger maps and has a rough early game. Knight spends too much to summon a guard that will not even be a guaranteed hit in the first place. I have been playing him since his release, and he is very weak compared to other killers. I've tried multiple strategies with him, like hit and run, during chases, using his 5% regression, and they all seem to not be reliable.
