Today I discuss the whole debate around the Nerf of SWF in Dead by Daylight. This was recently brought to light by Tru3Talent and Scott Jund who are in disagreements about certain aspects of the game. Should SWF be nerfed? Does Dead by Daylight have an issue with broken SWF and other things to consider? Should Solo Queue be buffed? Should SWF be removed from the game and finally should killer be buffed?   1. I still stand on my opinion on the poll.

    In short: make killers see surv perks, add a ping system so solo surv can communicate,game telling everyone where map they will go (this will be ignored if a player used a map offering), and killers can change their characters on the ready lobby screen

I think that a direct nerf to swf would be a mistake, i like tge idea of a ping system that allows better communication for solo players, but if you close the gap between solo and swf, then you also need to close the gap between killer and swf. There are a lot of ways to do this. Here are a few.

    Fix spawns so survivors spawn close together in a corner of the map where there are no gens or totems

    Reduce the blade wipe animation time AND reduce the speed up after a hit so chases are short

    Add speed caps to generators so that they never complete faster than 60 seconds and never take linger than 100 seconds regardless of perks

    Standardize the maps and reduce rng (not saying eliminate, just reduce) so that there are always 10 pallets spread out over the map.

    Fix totem spawns

    Add mandatory secondary objectives to the game

    You could do 1 or a few of these things, some of them are prettg easy to do as well so not much dev time.

    Extra bps for facing swfs is great, but its not a replacement for fixing the game

  3. The best idea and simplest I've read so far is just to know in the lobby if you're up against a SWF. That way, if you want to take the challenge or don't care, you stay in the lobby and if you don't want to play against them, you back off and look for another game.

  4. I will still call you boosted until you show me your understanding without crutches

    What are PPL thinking high ranks in any games are tough if you don't want to grow from challenges go play Minecraft or something like that

  5. Would it be to op to have a built in bond and true talent complains to much that’s my opinion you can’t win every game plus the people who do complain make mistakes in their games like all of us cause were human

  6. What you all seem to NOT understand is that you don't need to face top% , just facing 4 friends that are at your level means you just HARD lose , optimal survivors play should be nerfed , or you can rework the entire emblem system cause that is completely useless and unfair often enough.

  7. I know people say rank doesn't matter, but where I get confused by that is rank 1 achievement is around 5% of the player base, so how are rank 1's not top ~5%?

  8. I really don't mind swf what sometimes puts me off playing killer as a newer player in this game is when I get matched with top red rank survivors. I think its something that will keep newer players from wanting to play as its not just a fun challenge at that point its just a total slaughter for that new killer. So I wouldn't mind knowing if a team is swf but I would more so appreciate better matchmaking. I know people want less wait times which I get but I would rather wait a bit longer for a match that makes sense for my skill level than to get decimated by players who have way more time in this game than I do to be in a match faster.
