  1. I expect they tested real darkness and I expect it was a mess. Survivors with no chance whatsoever, some deciding to just hide in corners of map until it's over, otherwise not very interactive. Is it a shame? Yeah, but I find it unlikely that with a description like it has, that darkness was tested and removed.

  2. I was expecting you to be dissapointed the second I saw the nightfall, its just sad how they butchered it, it sounded good on paper and thats it

  3. Remove The white glow from killer during nightfall and make the darkness have blindess status effect for an set of range like 36 meters + overall darkness a bit thighter. This is such a good idea for a killer and its power wich is very scary but like everyone pointing out here, the glow makes him look like a marshmallow stick. Fix that and we're good

  4. Along with it needing to be much more harder to see I think nightfall should also apply a minor gen speed debuff to encourage people not to stay on gens so that it becomes more of this time period where everyone is just hiding hoping not to run into the killer, I think it could be scary as hell.

  5. I think nightfall will be a map-dependent ability working much stronger on darker maps like crotus prenn asylum, springwood and the game to some extent. The devs will need to make the darkness considerably dark to match both the new map and coldwind farm since both are extremely bright maps outside. It would be interesting if the devs made survivors unable to escape through the exit gates for the duration of nightfall. Maybe add it to the add-on that triggers it at the start and end of the trial.

  6. Would be cool if you would start considering putting two matches in a video. I don't think we are in 2005 anymore where the site of something longer than 9 minutes wouldn't get views. Especially since you post 30+ minute videos of Evild dead

  7. That first chase hurt me ): but anyway, nightfall seems like it’s supposed to help in chase by making it easier to track survivors? I mean the biggest thing is that it’s supposed to buff him. Though I agree, his white aura needs to go bye bye.

  8. I was under the impression Nightfall would basically be like the Moon Bouquet offerings, but a bit more severe.
Visually, I would also opt for it to look more like the old Eagle Vision from the Assassin's Creed games (NOT Unity, Syndicate, Origins, Odyssey, or Valhalla)

  9. The background screaming during nightfall should increase in volume as the darkness darkens to the point you can’t see anything but what’s immediately in front of you.

  10. So tired of BHVR making killers with useless powers. They always play killers so safe and make the power so easy to counter or it just has no effect at all. Look at the last killer Sadako's condemn mechanic. A survivior can go a whole match as normal and not even think about their condemn, and even if the sadako plays in a way to force the condemn you end up throwing the game just to maybe take out 1 person…

Now we have this nightfall. Sure you get buffs to the power while its active but we all know everyone was more excited for the actual darkness part of it. It could have made those moments more intense for killer and survivor and make it feel like an actual horror moment. I would rather they just didnt include these mechanics if they're just going to release it as some washed down, minor inconvenience becuase at this point thats all nightfall is. In fact for the dredge himself is more of a hinderance becuase now everyone can see from miles away becuase you glow like a fucking lightbulb. Isn't the killers power supposed to only benefit them while hindering survivors?
