Instead of deadlock you could use sloppy butcher to decrease the time between nightfalls and give surge more value.

I really appreciate you going through in detail what you run and why you run it. Makes me excited along with you to see the build in action.
Many other don't bother to show what they run, which is a shame.
I have always ran face the darkness and i want to play dredge more but even when i run things like corrupt i cant get more than 4 hooks so these help
