Honestly it's basically impossible to have any kind of passable conversation in this community because even if you come up with objective evidence for your opinion, they will just ignore the reason you came to your conclusion to then make a non-argument that has nothing to do with the situation or will just try to gaslight you on something completely different.

  2. Your fighting game grapplers comparison is extremely flawed. The counterplay against grapplers is beating them in neutral, which is what they’re typical weak at, NOT the guessing part that occurs after a knockdown. Guessing is NOT counterplay. You can talk about “conditioning” all you want, but at the end of the day whether you or they guess correctly on mind game or not is still mostly out of your control. It’s practically a dice roll. The closest to “grappler neutral” equivalent weakness of old Spirit was her base movement speed being 110%. She however, unlike most fighting game characters could force the 50/50 situation without getting the equivalent of a knockdown first, because her ability is cooldown based, not skill based. It’s similar to cheap “skip neutral” supers that force the opponent in blockstun from full screen, forcing you to eat a mix up. Look up Magarula and Titanomachia from Persona 4 Ultimax if you don’t know what I’m referring to. Literally EVERYONE absolutely despises those supers

  3. Gens fly in less than 5 min because survivors rush with full build and add-ons to repair and they hide all game: "nooo survivor too op, they don't want chase 😭😭".

    When survivors don't rush and decide to try chase/altruistic builds: "Noooo, survivors are too op, please nerf FTP and Buckle UP because It doesn't have counterplay 🤬🤬😭😭".
    Proceeds to play pin head or any killer with deep wound build/add-on

  4. I asked a survivor main who had the mindset that the game is killer sided how it was. When they mentioned all the things that made it killer sided, I came up with a plethora of what made it heavily survivor sided. Nothing to counter me with, they proceeded to insult my appearance. If you don’t have the mindset of everyone else in this community, you’re called toxic

  5. 16:33 I think the comment about DS being used while it could be active and doing gens while spirit was at its strongest was to highlight that Survivors at the time also had their own unfair BS they can use on the killer. As someone who used to play killer back then, it is waaaay more in killers favour now. Not saying DBD is killer sided, it never has been, but yeah.

    Off the top of my head I can remember a few BS survivors had while Spireh was "OP"

    -Faster Base Gen Speed. Unnerfed Prove Thyself. 180 Charge Commodious Toolboxes + addons
    -Old Deadhard. Old DS. Old Mettle of Man, Old Balanced Landing. Old Object of Obsession.
    -Old hatch mechanics where survivors don't even need to do the gens to find the hatch and leave with keys.
    -Old Medkit heal speed and actual insta heals.
    -Stronger Survivor Maps, Stronger survivor tile spawning logic, Bigger and darker maps overall. OLD HADDONFIELD WITH OLD UNBALANCED LANDING.
    -God windows on multiple maps.

    Meanwhile the only thing Killers had to counter this was to use the 1 hook mori's, or play Nurse and Spirit at the time. Play anything else and you're in for a bad time.

  6. Comps is way harder than this here to be honest with you. People are very good with pressuring gens and body blocking and wasting massive time. Kate made some mistakes in your chase that I wouldn’t have fell for which is making the chases last much much longer.
