  1. The guy who says he 4ks every game might not be lying if he's a "new" player. I started in November and for my first 70 or so hours I was getting 4ks literally every single game because the survivors were so bad and getting MMR takes a long time. Like, survivors so bad I went on a 60 or so winstreak with Sadako using only hers and ghost faces perks for the first 30 or so (GF was the only other killer I had levelled and after 30 wins I levelled clown for Bam) not even knowing that the condemn mechanic was part of her kit. I also didn't know about her invisibility and would use brown addons or no addons because I didn't want to waste them from my Tarkov mentality. I also didn't know about 3 genning so I wasn't doing that either and wasn't actively tunnelling.

This is why I know when someone says something dumb like "I can 4k every match with M1 killers without perks" I know hey are new because I had the exact same mindset.
Also MMR is on a per killer basis so if new players fluctuate between a bunch of different killers, getting to the point of playing against good survivors will be even longer.

  2. Idk my personal opinion is that it's far more interesting when he plays comp because the matches will become higher mmr until the point where he reaches top echelon survivors. This is where peak strategy and skill is required for both sides and not only makes the interactions more meaningful in terms of skill required, but also will create vastly more interesting endgames. Also knowing that the game is Imbalanced, it is interesting to watch you overcome the odds!
