They were cooking but they kinda ruined it. Like I liked their idea but Victor needed a way way way bigger cool down after a hit and atleast allow another survivor kick Victor after a successful hit. Also Make it when or if Charlotte m1s a survivor whith that haste it imminently goes away like how endurance dose with a conspicuous action. So she has the haste but she can easily waste it. Granted I'm game dev but that was my idea on how to keep what they had but not gut it
This update is just meh, nothing real interesting
This patch is 6 out of 10 maybe 7 since now twins won't feel like they been too a factory and came home performing hula hooping dances… Well their bugs exists but hopefully these twins changes will bring new life into players tryning them
Disappointed about ultimate weapon. I was honestly intrigued by the changes before, but now they just made it suck.
I'd like it so that Victor can be kicked during cooldown by non damaged survivors, incentivizing grouping up and giving prove thyself/discordance value for once. the amount of just "this didn't work so we give up" this ptb was embarrassing compared to the last ptb for Billy
Man… lets be honest… UW is NOT used to make the game interactive. It is used to tunnel. You use UW, find a screaming survivor you know not having CS, you hook the survivor, you move away from the hook not even proxycamping knowing your target screams and can be easily found as soon as unhooked to tunnel the shit out of him/her.
The Twins got exactly what I wanted (except that they didn't fix any bugs). Keep the quality of life buffs. Dumpster the garbage power rework. Well done, but why did it take 2 years just for some QoL changes we could have easily done 2 years ago???
BHVR really has a bad design plan when it comes to perks (I feel) – like you said, by nerfing perks so completely without any recourse or upside…. now there is no reason to run it.
I worry that we are heading for a pure "Old" Meta. 4 slowdown. DS, unbreakable, Deadhard, and flavor perk.
I wish it didn't feel like BHVR just constantly throw changes at the wall and see what sticks without really understanding their own game. Like, yeah, things will be changed, that's what the PTBs are for, but the game is like 8 years old, the twins rework was planned years in advance and that's the best they could do? come on. The worst part is, I don't think it was rushed, I think they just tried the first thing they thought of and then didn't care to test it.
I’m honestly not upset about the ultimate weapon nerf. Yeah it sucks that it lost its mobile nature but one of my favorite things to do with it was run it with unforeseen to ward people away from generators. So I think I’ll still enjoy it as a stationary info source.
On the bright side of ultimate weapon I heard someone bring up that it’d be more viable for stealth killers or those running stealth builds
Wish I could understand the want to see UW nerf, just seems like a good perk that helps you stay in chase
True 5s DS being back terrifies me. 5s stun when tunnelling is fair enough but aggressive DS is super scary since it has such a long duration.

Yes god forbid we get a very strong killer. I mean we wouldn't want strong swf to actually have to worry about surviving

Ultimate Weapon needed a nerf. I don't think this will lead to killers stacking even more slowodwn. I think it will actually lead to killers stacking less slowdown. Part of what made UW so good is that it was basically the only info perk you needed, it did the job of several of them at once, so you could fill the other perk slots with more slowdown. Now if you want that same level of info as UW used to give you, you'll need to go back to taking more info perks.
I hate stealth gamers, too. Really, I do, it's one of the most boring things to play against. But this is a horror game where you're trying to avoid the killer at the end of the day. Stealth should be a viable option and Ultimate Weapon basically required you to devote one of your perk slots to Calm Spirit to have any hope of using stealth.
BHVR once again feeding these entitled survivor mains these baby bottles they wanna nerf killers but yet survivors still have a 5 sec DS keep it up BHVR survivors will have very long queue times due to killers quitting
UW is fine. It is as good as the Killer Player that is bringing it.

new uw might be fun on stealth killers, but its still the worst version of the perk
they made U.W. nowhere to hide with a locker it is now a dead perk no one gonna stay by the killer when there is no gen

The fact that people waited so many years for these big changes for twins and it just ended up being QOL changes is disappointing this whole update was just disappointing
I personally never used UW so I'm ultimately (no pun intended) indifferent about the nerf. But I do think it is a pretty substantial nerf and we'll probably not see it ran very much at all any more. If they are going to change it to 32m around the locker instead of your terror radius, they needed to revert the CD changes. Instead now it's going to be like MFT, a once "meta" perk that will fade into obscurity.
they buff ds because their killers are overperforming, also they plan to buff more killers.
Ultimate weapons problem, imo, was that it lasted too long. No where to hide is only 5 seconds, while UW was a whopping 30. Killers could open a locker on one side of the map and walk to the other in time to find whoever they might want to tunnel out of the game with that. It's happened to me a few times.

I think you should have taken that 24 hours still. I have never seen any of your other videos but the way you said some of the things in this video sounded super condescending. Mainly the "That factually not true." I agree with a lot of your points but the overall tone of the video unminds all of it. As someone who use to be a teacher you should know better than to say that something that involve any level of skill is factually easy. Some people find things harder than other things. Hug teching some people can't do to save their lives but the can 180 flick on Oni. Not everyone is the same so it is not factually easy. For you maybe. For everyone untrue. When you were in school yourself I am sure that you had a subject that you got A's in because you found it easy and other classes that you got C's or B's in because you found it a little harder to learn or maybe it wasn't as appealing to you. Everyone is different. I don't mean any hate by my comment I just think the way you handled the changes were wrong.
Just curious. Why everybody say that blindness addons are mid and blindness itself is a very niche effect, but when it's on UW it's actually too much and needs to be removed?
Im gonna be that guy who beats on bhvr but frankly this really just showcases the complete incompetency of the devs, and just how out of touch with the reality of the game they really are.
